The main responsibilities of Huaxi District Education Bureau:

(a) to implement the educational principles, policies, laws and regulations of the party and the state, formulate the education development plan of the whole region and guide, coordinate and organize its implementation.

(two) the comprehensive management of basic education, preschool education, special education, ethnic education, vocational and technical education and youth literacy; Guide and coordinate all departments to carry out relevant education work and implement education supervision and evaluation; Responsible for the administrative management of education and teaching in schools at all levels in the whole region; Manage and guide social forces to run schools.

(three) to organize and coordinate the reform of the education system and school-running system in the whole region, and straighten out the internal and external relations of education.

(4) Strengthen the overall management of basic education in the whole region, focus on rural education, promote the balanced development of compulsory education, further tilt public education resources to rural areas and ethnic minority areas, and promote educational equity.

(5) Implementing quality education in an all-round way, deepening the reform of basic education, effectively reducing the schoolwork burden of primary and secondary school students, strengthening moral education in primary and secondary schools, and guiding and monitoring the development level and quality of compulsory education.

(6) Vigorously develop vocational education, adhere to employment orientation, deepen the reform of vocational education, improve the level and quality of running vocational schools, actively promote the innovation of vocational education system, and further enhance the vitality of vocational education development.

(seven) to coordinate and promote the implementation of education funds and investment in the whole region; Responsible for the management guidance, financial supervision and audit of education funds, infrastructure construction and infrastructure investment in the whole region, as well as the supervision and management of state-owned assets in the system.

(eight) to manage and guide the work of teachers in the whole region, and organize the implementation of the teacher qualification system; Planning and guiding the construction of school teachers; Formulate the training and continuing education plan for primary and secondary school teachers in the whole region and organize their implementation.

(nine) to guide the moral education, physical education, art, health education and national defense education in schools in the whole region.

(ten) to prepare and organize the implementation of the enrollment plan of ordinary senior middle schools and unified recruitment middle schools.

(eleven) responsible for coordinating educational exchanges with Hongkong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province Province.

(twelve) responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic education information in the whole region.

(thirteen) to strengthen the overall planning, comprehensive coordination and guidance and management of private education, implement the policies and measures for the development of private education, standardize the order of running schools, and promote the healthy development of private education.

(fourteen) to undertake the specific work of the Education Supervision Office of the District People's Government and the District Language Working Committee.

(fifteen) to undertake other tasks assigned by the district party committee, the district government and the superior business department.
