When is the national safety education day for primary and secondary school students?
1In March, 1996, seven ministries and commissions of the state jointly issued a notice, deciding to establish a national safety education day system for primary and secondary school students from 1996, deciding that the Monday of the last week of March (that is, March 27th) is the "safety education day" for primary and secondary school students every year, and stipulating that all primary and secondary schools should carry out a safety education activity among all teachers and students.

Significance: Safety work in primary and secondary schools is the top priority of education, and it is the basis and premise of running people's satisfaction education well.

Local education administrative departments should, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for the Safety Management of Kindergartens in Primary and Secondary Schools, further improve the system of major hidden dangers management and monitoring of major hazard sources, improve the system of forecasting, early warning, prevention and emergency response, strictly implement various safety management measures, continuously enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of safety work, and earnestly implement the safety work in primary and secondary schools.

We should continue to work closely with public security, industry and commerce, quality inspection, safety supervision, the Communist Youth League and other departments to form an effective mechanism for all departments to work together and the whole society to participate together, and strive to create a safe, healthy, civilized and harmonious growth environment for primary and secondary school students.
