I have said long ago that our education policy should enable the educated to develop morally, intellectually and physically and become educated workers with socialist consciousness.
There are many courses now, which kill people and make primary and secondary school students and college students nervous every day. Courses can be halved. Reading all day is not good for students. They can take part in some productive labor and necessary social labor.
At present, in the exam, the method of dealing with the enemy is used to make a sudden attack, and some strange and off-topic questions are given to fool students. This is a way to test stereotyped writing. I don't agree. It should be completely changed. I advocate that the topic should be open and students should learn to read and do it.
For example, for 20 questions, students can answer 10 well, and some are very good and creative, and they can get 100 points; I answered all 20 questions, yes, but if there is no originality, I will give you 50 points and 60 points. You can speak quietly in the exam, but you don't understand it. Ask others to understand. If you understand it, you will gain something. Why learn by rote? They did it, so I can copy it again. You can try some.
I don't agree with the old teaching system that destroyed talents and young people. Confucius was born in a noble slave owner's family. He didn't go to any middle school or university. His first job was to preside over people's funerals. He was probably a trumpet player. When someone dies, he goes to blow and fight. He can play the piano, shoot arrows, build cars and know something about the masses. At first I was a small official, in charge of grain, grass, cattle, sheep and animal husbandry. Later, when he became a high official in Shandong, he heard about the masses. He later set up a private school and opposed students' engaging in labor.
