Step 1: Attend the course.
AMS and AMI courses are generally arranged to start in summer, and the first course basically needs six weeks in a row, and can last six days a week.
Step 2: Internship.
AMS strictly stipulates that all certified students must attend an internship period of at least 9 months, which can be half a day. However, if the school where you go for an internship requires you to work full-time, your internship period is still 9 months.
Step 3: Accept the interview.
All students of AMS will receive three visits from college tutors during their internship.
Step 4: Make a manual.
Students who participate in international certification, whether AMS or AMI, should do their homework.
Step 5: Other homework
In addition to making manuals, tutors will also assign some extra homework, such as writing Montessori's works after reading; Design a music and dance activity; Making teaching AIDS; Draw a plan of the classroom. The results of these assignments are accounted for in the final assessment, so we can't ignore them. We must take them seriously and complete them.
Step 6: Take the exam.
The examination of AMS is not as strict as that of AMI, because students' visits and homework themselves account for an important part of the examination results.
PS: If you don't attend class before the exam and don't practice seriously, you will be disqualified from the exam, and then you need to be retrained consciously. You can't take the exam until your tutor approves your grades. If the results fail after the exam, the college will inform the students to continue retraining and make up the exam.
Step 7: Notarization of academic qualifications
If you have taken a serious class, completed a nine-month internship, accepted three tutor visits, and completed your homework and exams, congratulations, you are not far from getting an international certificate. What you have to do now is to notarize your education. Because AMS is an American certificate, your relevant education must be recognized by the American education system, and the process is equivalent to applying for studying abroad.
Step 8: Wait patiently.
When you hand in all the materials to the college, the last thing to do is to wait patiently. AMS is headquartered in new york. Therefore, all applications must be approved in overseas new york.
