The School of Education of China West Normal University, founded in 1962, has gone through the development stages of "Education Department", "Education Science College", "Education Science and Technology College" and "Education College". In 2007, the former College of Education Science and Technology merged with the College of Education Technology to form a new College of Education Science and Technology, which is now renamed the College of Education. There are more than 200 full-time undergraduate students 1200, more than 200 full-time graduate students and nearly 200 graduate students in education.
