Which do you prefer, universal education or elite education? Why?
Between universal education and elite education, I prefer universal education for the purpose of popularization. The biggest advantage of universal education is that it can improve the overall cultural level of society, enable people to get a good education and promote social development. Elite educators are aimed at a small number of people. Elite education is not simply to train talents through exams, but to cultivate a person's comprehensive quality. To put it bluntly, elite education exists to train leaders, while universal education is to train the general public.

Compared with elite education, universal education still has great benefits, because our country has a large population, so we can only use universal education to let more people have cultural knowledge, thus increasing the overall cultural level of society. Nine-year compulsory education in China is the best example of universal education, so that everyone can learn together, grow together and acquire knowledge and culture. This is the meaning of universal education. Universal education is civilian education, which is very equal to everyone, truly respects everyone and allows everyone to receive cultural education.

Compared with universal education, elite education is only suitable for some people, because the characteristic of elite education is to spend a lot of resources to learn some knowledge heights that universal education can't reach, and only cultivate leading talents. Elite education is not the pursuit of material education, but the humanistic spirit education of social responsibility. Like many rich people in China, it sends its children to elite schools abroad, which is a typical elite education and exists to cultivate elites.

According to the characteristics of China's national conditions, universal education is more suitable for us. Universal education allows every ordinary person to receive cultural education equally, and the cost of universal education is the lowest, which is also the most suitable for today's society. Elite education is only suitable for a few people because most people can't afford it. Elite education and universal education complement each other. Mass education is to eliminate illiteracy, while elite education is to lead social progress.
