Leng Wanggao, 1959, from Xiushui, Jiangxi. Studying medicine, engaged in surgery, orthopedics, clinical and medical education for nearly 20 years. 1997 participated in the establishment of Jiujiang Painting and Calligraphy Institute (later renamed Jiujiang Painting Academy and Jiujiang Art Museum respectively), and changed from 1998 to professional creation. His works were selected for the 5th, 6th and 8th National Calligraphy Exhibition, the 1st National and International Engraving Calligraphy Exhibition, the 2nd and 4th National Couplet Calligraphy Exhibition, the 2nd National Fan Calligraphy Exhibition, the 1st Excellent Works Exhibition of China Calligraphers Association, and the China Contemporary Calligraphy Exhibition. In 2009, his works and biographies were compiled by China Academy of Fine Arts as "Great Calligraphy Series of the Republic" and "Book Volume". Held many solo exhibitions and published collections of works. From 2005 to 2006, he studied Chinese painting in China Academy of Fine Arts, and was a visiting scholar in the art education studio of Professor Chen Shouxiang, a famous contemporary cultural scholar, art theorist and educator. Now he is a member of China Book Association and a director of Jiangxi Book Association.

Besides specializing in calligraphy and painting, I also specialize in seal cutting, prose, photography and graphic design.

In recent years, he has devoted himself to the creation of traditional landscape paintings and the popularization of calligraphy teaching and research.

Although he has participated in many provincial and municipal exhibitions, held solo exhibitions in many places, and won prizes at provincial art exhibitions, he only devoted himself to studying and creating, constantly improving his comprehensive cultivation, and did not make efforts to join various art associations at all levels.
