Who started personalized education?
Dalton system is a personalized teaching form advocated by American educator parkhurst in the early 20th century. There are two main principles:

One is freedom, that is, students can plan their own affairs and restrain their activities from both physical and mental aspects, thus cultivating students' ability of self-education.

The second is cooperation, that is, breaking class boundaries, emphasizing cooperation and interaction in group activities, so that students can develop in an atmosphere of democratic cooperation.
