The Cross-Strait Vocational Skills Competition is sponsored by the Fujian Provincial Department of Education and the Teaching Steering Committee of Economic and Trade Specialty of the Ministry of Education.

The purpose is to further promote cross-strait vocational education exchanges and cooperation, advocate young students to establish the concept of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", and further enhance the innovation ability and professional quality of college students on both sides of the strait.
