Qualitative research mainly refers to an activity of understanding the meaning of their behavior and their views on things from the perspective of the parties in the natural environment, extracting research hypotheses from them, and testing the hypotheses.
Quantitative research refers to an activity in which researchers establish hypotheses, determine various variables with causality, and then use some tested tools to measure and analyze these variables, thus verifying the researchers' reserved assumptions.
The main difference between qualitative research and quantitative research lies in seven aspects: theoretical basis, research purpose, research situation, research design, specific research methods, data analysis ideas and the relationship between researchers and subjects.
