Education-related undergraduate majors in normal universities mainly include Chinese language, Chinese language and literature, Chinese international education, Japanese, Korean, French, German, English, physics, chemistry, mathematics and applied mathematics, psychology, political science and administration, history, preschool education, primary education, physical education, special education and pedagogy.

Teachers' majors in junior colleges mainly include Chinese education, ideological and political education, mathematics education, physics education, English education, physics education, chemistry education, biology education, history education, music education, geography education, art education, physical education, preschool education, Chinese and so on.

What does it take to be a teacher?

1. Those who have not reached the national statutory retirement age and meet the academic qualifications stipulated in the Teachers Law.

2. The household registration or file is local.

3. All People's Republic of China (PRC) (PRC) citizens, regardless of gender, age, occupation, nationality and other conditions (except special majors), can sign up for the self-study exam. Those who have obtained the college degree recognized by the state can apply for the self-taught examination of undergraduate courses (including the teacher qualification course examination).

Article 11 of the Teacher Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) shall meet the corresponding qualification conditions for obtaining the teacher qualification:

(a) to obtain the qualification of preschool teachers, one should have graduated from preschool normal school or above:

(two) to obtain the qualification of a primary school teacher, one should have graduated from a secondary normal school or above:

(three) to obtain the qualifications of teachers in junior middle schools and teachers in cultural and professional courses in junior vocational schools, one should have graduated from normal colleges or other universities and above:

(four) to obtain the qualifications of teachers in senior middle schools and teachers in secondary specialized schools, technical schools and vocational high schools, you should have a bachelor's degree or above in normal universities or other universities; The qualifications required to obtain the qualifications of students' internship instructors in secondary specialized schools, technical schools and vocational high schools shall be stipulated by the administrative department of education of the State Council;

To obtain the qualification of a teacher in an institution of higher learning, one should have a postgraduate or undergraduate degree;

(five) to obtain the qualification of a teacher in an institution of higher learning, one should have a postgraduate or undergraduate degree;

(six) to obtain the qualification of adult education teachers, they should have graduated from higher and secondary specialized schools and above that are suitable for the level and category of adult education. Citizens who do not have the teacher qualifications stipulated in this law must pass the national teacher qualification examination when applying for teacher qualifications. The national teacher qualification examination system is formulated by the State Council.
