That's because the masters and teachers in some schools say that they spend a long time reading classics with their children and taking care of the details of their lives in private schools, and they feel very tired, so the masters sympathize with the teachers and the teachers sympathize with themselves, which will inevitably lead to some fatigue. This is totally unexpected, so I talked about this "new law". I thought teaching would not be tiring, especially teaching classics. Simply put, it is to read books with children, and read books with children that can teach and learn from each other. A studious person should read like this if he wants to read. Perhaps, instead of you accompanying your child to study, your child will accompany you to study, and you can earn a living. Teachers who teach classics should be a very happy group. Why do you feel tired?
I thought, why are you tired? There are two situations that make people very tired: one is physical strength-too much physical consumption will make them very tired; One is psychological-if you are not smooth in your heart, you will be tired. The fatigue in your heart is far more difficult to recover than the fatigue of physical activities. Teaching is not like a farmer or a coolie. If teaching is tiring, it should not be tiring from physical and mental work, but from psychological burden. Is it tiring to take children to study and accompany them to study? Maybe not, but maybe my heart is not smooth and uncomfortable.
Unfavorable and uncomfortable, first of all, it may be that a person is not interested in his work and regards it as a response-he has to face it and finish it. If so, we are wasting our lives doing things we don't want to do. This living condition is called "selling blood". Someone in the hospital wants a blood transfusion, so someone sells it. Because he has no other job, someone needs blood. Blood is life. He sold his life, took a little money and lived a "life"-in fact, he lived a "life" rather than a "life". He didn't want to do such a thing, but he had to do it. If a person's working mood is like this, then his heart must be empty, vacant and helpless. It's tiring to live like this. Therefore, if the teacher who teaches classics doesn't like doing this job and just wants to find a "career", he is here to cope. It is of course very tiring to "cope" for such a long time.
Generally speaking, however, a Bible-reading teacher must first know something about Bible-reading education. He is an ideal person. If education is based on this understanding and this ideal, teaching classics should not be too tiring. Because this is his favorite job, and it is integrated with his life. At this time, although he is burning himself, he is willing, and even feels that his strength has not been exhausted, hoping to do better as far as possible. So high-spirited, enthusiastic and energetic, you won't feel tired.
If I have passion and ideals and do what I want to do, but the time is always too long and there are always many things, I will still be very tired. I think, if the time is long, if it is something I like, it won't be long; The so-called "too many things" may not be because I take my children to read the Bible, but because I have to "take care of the children"-do "classroom management", so I feel "bored". When I am "upset", I will feel a lot of things.
Reading classics, if you just keep reading, at least you will be less tired and even satisfied. But it is very tiring to correct students' bad behavior and maintain the order of many students in a class. If the teacher often wants to do "classroom management", it is to calm the child's mood and correct his posture and behavior. If teachers want to teach and manage order, they can do both: if you manage order, you neglect teaching, and the teaching effect is poor, and students are even less interested; If students are not interested, the classroom will be more difficult to manage, which is a vicious circle. Some teachers are psychologically afraid of students and entering the classroom, which may be the biggest source of teacher fatigue.
Then, can teachers almost ignore the order, that is, how to make class management smooth, so as to reduce the trouble of most teachers? We can look at it this way: teachers in the general system should also spend their energy on classroom management, so "classroom management" is an important subject required by normal students. Although all teachers have taken the course of Classroom Management, not every teacher has done a good job, and some of them are due to the overall environment. For example, more than a decade ago, an American professor told me that teachers in public primary and secondary schools had to spend half or even two-thirds of their time in order to maintain classes, which is a common phenomenon caused by the "open personality" environment in the United States.
In addition, classroom management is not easy, and there are also personal factors of teachers. Some people seem to be born with the characteristics of teachers. As soon as he stands on the platform, the students will obey. Some teachers don't have this trait, and there is nothing they can do. The children are staggered and messy, and there is nothing the teacher can do. At that time, the teacher's mind and the students' mind were seesawing, so they were very tired. How to improve this kind of seesaw teaching management is the first step of teaching artistry.
In fact, children who read classics read sage books, and the classroom order in private schools is much better than that in ordinary schools, but we hope it will be better. How could it be better We believe that if children's learning status is better, the classroom will be easier to manage. Wouldn't it be easy if the children didn't need to be responsible? If you want to have a good state, even if you don't care, you must have two conditions: one is that this student is very curious and he wants to study actively. However, this situation is rare. None of the ten students is eager to learn on their own initiative, so they need the second kind of "skillful management". How to clip it? Just don't let him stagger-not stagger in posture, but stagger in learning psychology.
How to make his thinking not stagger? There is a saying in "Zhuangzi Sheng Da": "It concentrates on God, regardless of ambition". This will is will, the mind is will, and the direction of the heart is will; In any case, some people write "indisputable" with the intention of not being scattered or chaotic, that is, focusing on one thing. This is called "regardless of purpose". "Being condensed in God" means that his spirit will be condensed together, and his spirit will be as clear and transparent as God. If a student is eager to learn, he is devoted to learning, that is, he can concentrate, his mind will be "as clear as God" and the effect of his study will be "as helpful as God". If every student is eager to learn, then the whole class will naturally "concentrate on their ambitions." If all students are not eager to learn, can we create an atmosphere so that he can concentrate on God regardless of his ambition?
Originally, when a child's mind is not on his study, he will be lost in thought, or look around, or do some little tricks, so his mind will be more scattered and completely out of state. Too much of this state will also produce "negative energy" to infect other students. At this time, the teacher will feel uneasy, so he will manage and want to pull him back, so the teacher will look at him psychologically and in action. When you go to the trouble to see him, the other children are idle, and they have nothing to do for a while, and then their minds are scattered.
The teacher couldn't care less about the east and the west, just watching the whole class fall apart. The classroom is not like a classroom, and the teacher is not like a teacher. The teacher is frustrated, and it takes a lot of spirit and strength, even angry and harsh words, to reunite the whole classroom. Isn't this tiring? So I've been thinking, can you find a way to make teachers who don't have "teacher characteristics" follow suit and reach the realm of no management?
I think, if we can create an atmosphere that will not relax from the beginning, then we will always maintain this cohesive atmosphere, won't we? The education of reading the Bible can easily do this. The main point is that teachers should first "use ambition regardless". Don't do too much work and talk too much to avoid distracting students. You know, all you have to do is read the Bible. What is "one thing"? From the beginning of class to the end of class, I only care about one thing, that is, reading the Bible.
How do you create this atmosphere of only one thing and keep it? Is to do it: watertight. "Watertightness" means that teachers and students are not distracted for a moment in all time periods, just like a full tank of water, without a gap or a drop. From the beginning of class, if the teacher takes reading, the teacher says, children, repeat after me. You bring one sentence, he reads one sentence, and after reading one sentence after another, let the classic continue the class until the class is over. If you read it all at once, the teacher will say, children, open the book, and Confucius said, get ready and read it all at once. The course will start sentence by sentence, and then start from the beginning after watching a paragraph, so that the class will continue until the class is over. In this way, no matter teachers or students, there is almost no chance of distraction. In this way, a class only needs one teacher, not two. It is a waste for two teachers to manage a class. When the teacher sits there, he can clearly see all the twenty or thirty students who are not studying, especially a person with the characteristics of a teacher, sitting there, and the students' spirits are all concentrated on the teacher. It is good for the teacher to study with the children. How can a dozen or twenty children need two or three teachers?
There is a school in Taiwan Province Province. Teacher Zhang Lihua, the boss of the school, said: "It's strange how teachers find teaching difficult. A class can't give too many students and can't hold it." She said that she could teach a hundred students by herself. Of course, there has been no chance for her to try, but she has this confidence. We hope that every teacher should have this confidence. Even if you can't teach a hundred students, you can't say that you can't manage more than three students. You are confident to teach 100 students, so that your spirit will be lifted and your appearance and behavior will be different. You will be radiant and radiant. Mencius said, "Humble its face, humble its back, and be generous with its four bodies, which goes without saying." As soon as the teacher entered the classroom, the whole classroom was shrouded in his spirit. To say that the spirit can "cover" is not an illusory fantasy, but a real feeling.
I had the same experience when I gave a speech. If I face the situation of such a dozen people, I am a state of mind; Just like the audience of more than 800 people a few days ago, we need another kind of power; If there are tens of thousands of people, there will be another spirit. In short, the more people you face, the higher the whole expression, so as to cover the audience. Don't cover the audience, just talk about the first few, and then it will be chaotic.
Therefore, it is not easy to develop teachers' characteristics. A person with insufficient spirit, usually listless, can't do anything, and certainly can't be a teacher. As a teacher, you should be full of faith and high spirits. You should realize that you are here to educate children, and you should lead them to grow up. You should remember that you are here and have such a self-awakening. If you can't be like a bodhisattva, as the saying goes, "You feel uneasy with fate, but leave this bodhi seat"-all buddhas and bodhisattvas feel cordial with all beings because of fate; Nothing is thoughtless, otherwise, how can it be called Guanyin, and how can it be said that listening to music can save suffering? However, he has the feeling of helping the poor, but he doesn't need to run around. He just sits on the bodhi seat forever. Only by sitting there forever can he feel that all directions are thoughtful and just right.
A teacher who can be so quiet and feel the whole class should be the highest quality. But it is rare. This is an ideal. So I suggest that teachers walk more, wander between desks and chairs in the classroom and among the students. You should try to remind your child when you see that his ambition is scattered and his spirit is depressed. There is no need to stop the whole class and give the children a lesson. If he doesn't sit well, you pat him on the back; He was lost in thought, so he just clicked on his desk; He makes a little gesture, you touch his head, everyone continues to read, and the sound of menstruation continues. "The Doctrine of the Mean" says: "Be respectful and respectful, and be quiet." The less you shout, the more dignified you are. Students' hearts can easily be cleaned up by majestic tips. When the children's hearts are set, the hearts of the whole class will gather.
In this kind of reading, the whole "aura" is thick, quiet, peaceful and bright, which is also a phenomenon of "being strict with the teacher and then respecting the Tao". Every child is a god. What's wrong with you holding his god with your god? Everyone's heart is firm and the learning effect is good, but the teacher's heart is greatly encouraged. This teaching is not that you are wasting your life, but that you are recycling the energy of the universe. You are still full of energy after class at night. How can you be tired? Different mentality, different effects, this is called "drip-tight" teaching method.
Don't talk nonsense often. China's education should keep him studying. To make him smart, let him talk and keep talking. To improve his memory, let him repeat it over and over again. To have a solid cultural education, we just need to immerse him in the words of sages and then immerse him in them. You have to recite, go to college, and be an adult. You took him to supervise him when he was young and then recited it. This is the simplest thing in the world. If you can't do it, what can you do? But it can also be said that this is the most difficult thing in the world, because most people don't know that such simplicity is effective. Everyone is desperately doing complicated and ineffective work, but simple things can't be done.
The headmaster and teacher of a school said that children are always groping around, looking around and pushing around. Some of them are playing with things, origami and drawing. The teacher cares about the east and the west, and there is trouble everywhere. They were very tired, so I asked them to use this teaching method: the next day, the teacher walked into the classroom without saying anything, only saying, "Son! Confucius, get ready and tidy! "Every class is like this until the class is over. Two days later, a child said to his mother, "The more I read these two days, the happier I am. I have read a lot now! " -Children will be happy if they read more and enrich themselves. If you let him relax, if he moves around, his mind will be chaotic, impetuous and empty, his life will not degenerate, he will feel insecure and he will not be happy. Therefore, our teacher should create a safe haven for children and give them a backer, and the teacher is his backer.
We need to know more about human nature. Don't you doubt that teaching him to "study hard" in this way is too strict? Be strict when it is time to be strict, and relax when it is time to relax! So I suggest a big class, and a big class is over. For example, class lasts for an hour and a half, and class ends for 30 minutes, so that everyone can have fun after class. The intensity of reading after class is great, so both teachers and students will not feel bored and will calm down. Although it will take more than an hour, I feel that class will be over soon, just like a monk meditating. I once met a monk who said that he had participated in Qigong when he was young. Once, he sat down for a few minutes, and his chin rang and he was about to sit down. He woke up and asked the person next to him, "Aren't you going to sit incense today?" A wick of incense lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, which is the weight of beginners' meditation. The person next to us said, "We sat for a while." "Isn't it two minutes?" This is called concentration, and this is called "focusing on God, regardless of ambition". Haven't you heard that reading the Bible can also have a calming effect?
When you teach children to read the Bible, you should think to yourself-I love children by teaching them this way. This classic is the most suitable educational content for children, and reciting is the most suitable educational method for children. Your love is deep, and children will feel it. The child connects with your heart with his heart, not how much you care about him and respect him on the surface. Only when teachers have a deep understanding and grasp of human nature can they have confidence in teaching. This is called "psychological method of education"! Teachers at the teaching site should have the spirit of covering the whole audience. The so-called "audience" includes the audience of space and time. The whole space is the whole classroom, all students; The whole time of this class is more than an hour. Your spirit should be completely shrouded in two sides. If you are depressed, students will be depressed. When you leave, so do the students. In short, this "drip-tight teaching method" is: first, the voice is unchanged, and second, it is always reminded.
