(A) to create a highland for the formation and practice of advanced educational thoughts and theories in southern China.

Through years of rolling research and practice, the first-class educational think tank in the province and the first-class educational research institutions in China have been gradually established, and the advanced educational ideas and theoretical system in South China have been gradually formed, providing consulting services for the relevant decisions of the provincial party Committee and the provincial government, providing intellectual support for promoting the scientific management of education, providing scientific guidance for improving the quality of education and teaching at all levels and the level of running schools, and contributing to the continuous enrichment and development of Socialism with Chinese characteristics's educational theoretical system. Main contents: Research on modern education system in Socialism with Chinese characteristics; Strategic research on "building a strong province of education and human resources, speeding up the process of educational modernization and building an educational highland in South China"; A strategic study of "basically realizing the modernization of education, basically forming a learning society, and taking the lead in entering the ranks of strong education provinces"; To study the reform of personnel training system, school-running system, management system and investment system; Research on the balanced and coordinated development of basic education in urban and rural areas and regions: build a modern vocational education system and establish an integrated design mechanism for training objectives, specialty settings, curriculum system, teaching material system and training standards of vocational education at different levels; Study on the connotation development of higher education and the adjustment and optimization of discipline and specialty structure: study on the development and management policy of private education: study on the education policy of children of non-registered population: comparative study on educational reform and development inside and outside the province and at home and abroad; Implement the Pearl River Delta Planning Outline, promote the close cooperation and integrated development of education in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and promote the research on the level of education internationalization; Track and analyze the key, hot and difficult issues of education, and provide intellectual support for the educational decision-making and scientific management of the party Committee and government.

(2) Establish a textbook system of basic education with Guangdong characteristics.

(3) Constructing the education quality assurance and evaluation system in Guangdong Province.

According to the requirements of deepening the comprehensive reform of education and promoting the development of educational science, we should strengthen the overall integration of educational evaluation, enrich the connotation of evaluation and develop evaluation projects. Main contents: research on the reform of evaluation model; Study on evaluation index system; Establish an evaluation information system; Formulate the Regulations on Education Evaluation in Guangdong Province; Build a team of high-quality professional evaluation experts with international vision; The evaluation of basic education, secondary vocational education, higher education and continuing education has been carried out and will continue to be carried out.

By monitoring the development of students' moral, intellectual and physical factors that affect their development in compulsory education in the whole province, we can accurately grasp the quality of compulsory education, diagnose and analyze the problems and causes of compulsory education, seek solutions, and constantly explore the development law of compulsory education, the growth law of students and the management law of education and teaching, so as to provide scientific basis for educational decision-making, management and improvement of education and teaching, and promote the healthy development of students. Main contents: theoretical design and model construction of compulsory education quality monitoring system; Establish monitoring institutions, form a four-level linkage monitoring mechanism among provinces, cities, counties (cities, districts) and schools, and establish and improve the quality monitoring system of compulsory education; Determine the index system, content and procedure of compulsory education quality monitoring; Carry out quality monitoring and feedback of compulsory education.
