Hefei Normal University, located in Hefei City, Anhui Province, is the first batch of training pilot units for "serving national special-needs professional degree graduates", the implementation unit of "national training plan" demonstration training project, the pilot unit of "excellent teacher training plan" and the implementation university of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" application-oriented undergraduate integration project.

The first batch of "local applied high-level universities" and "entrepreneurial colleges" were established in the revitalization plan of higher education in Anhui Province.

Since 2004, the Youth League Committee of Hefei Normal University has been established independently according to department-level units. At present, there are 15 secondary college youth league committees. There are 20 full-time League cadres in the whole school (including 5 members of the Youth League Committee, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the second-level college 15), deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee 1 person, 2 part-time deputy secretaries of teachers, 2 part-time deputy secretaries of students, 38 1 person in the League branch, and Communist Youth League members 14496.

There are five school-level student organizations: the school student union, the cultural service center of student associations, the Heshi Youth Media Center, the Youth Volunteers Association and the "Second Classroom" credit certification center, with a total of 54 student associations.
