In the eighth year of Taiyuan (383), Fu Jian, the filial piety emperor of the Eastern Jin Dynasty and the former ruler of Qin Dynasty, attacked the Eastern Jin Dynasty on a large scale, and the battle of Feishui was defeated, which shook the rule of the former Qin Dynasty. It turns out that under the control of Fu Jian, the leaders of all ethnic groups in the north fought against the State of Qin and became independent in succession. Mu Rongchui, the powerful leader of the Xianbei tribe in the former Yan Dynasty, first established political power, calling himself the Prince of Yan, with its capital in Zhongshan (now Dingxian County, Hebei Province), and was called Houyan in history. When the former Qin Dynasty crusaded against Houyan, Yihe Wang, who was only 17 years old, and his younger brother Wang Rui were ordered to organize armed forces to fight against Mu Rongchui.
