Through training for seven years, the first three years are secondary vocational education, the middle two years are higher vocational education, and the last two years are undergraduate education. According to the notice, the through-training project is divided into high-cost through-training and high-cost through-training. Among them, the integration of higher education is jointly cultivated by higher vocational colleges and undergraduate colleges selected as "high-level vocational colleges with Beijing characteristics". According to the requirements, the enrollment target of the through train plan is the official household registration candidates in Beijing who meet the entrance qualification of the senior high school entrance examination in that year, and they enroll students in the whole city through the senior high school entrance examination.

Participating schools include 12 vocational colleges such as Beijing Electronic Technology Vocational College, Beijing Industrial Vocational College and Beijing Finance and Trade Vocational College, and 7 undergraduate colleges such as Beijing Union University, Beijing Institute of Materials and beijing city university.

Students who complete the project in higher education are registered as students in their higher vocational colleges in secondary vocational schools and higher vocational schools, and as students in cooperative undergraduate colleges at the undergraduate stage. Students in this project are registered as students in their own secondary vocational schools, and as students in cooperative undergraduate colleges in higher vocational schools and undergraduate schools.
