In August, 2006, the College undertook the 12th Beijing Industrial Skills Competition and the 2nd Beijing Selection Competition of the National Numerical Control Skills Competition, and achieved excellent results of 5 first places, 2 second places and 2 third places, including all the "metalworking awards" awarded by the Municipal Labor and Social Security Bureau. Three cornerstones of integration and take-off

Since its establishment five years ago, in order to implement the vocational education policy of "employment-oriented and ability-centered", seize the opportunity of the country to vigorously promote the reform and development of vocational education, conscientiously sum up years of practical experience in running schools, boldly explore how to achieve the coordination and unity of school scale, teaching quality, social benefits and economic benefits, and promote the rapid development of the college, and gradually form its own guiding ideology of running schools, namely "three links".

Specifically, Dean Tong Huaqiang told reporters that the so-called "three connections" refers to the integration of professional construction with the market, the quality of running a school with the society, and the concept of running a school with the international community; Maximize the needs of society, enterprises, students and parents.

Specifically: First, professional construction must be closely integrated with the labor market, and the professional ability needs of skilled talents in enterprises and the adjustment direction of the government to the economic structure must be taken into account; The second is to evaluate students' learning quality by the results of social skill appraisal, to evaluate the teaching quality of the college by the rate of obtaining professional qualifications, and to evaluate the quality of running the college by the rate of students' satisfaction, the rate of employers' satisfaction and the qualified rate of social trainers; Third, introduce the international quality management concept into college management, promote the scientific, systematic and standardized management of college, and realize "running the school and teaching according to law"; In education and teaching, MES (Modular Teaching Mode of Combined Skills) of the International Labor Organization, CBE (Teaching Mode of Professional Ability Analysis) of North America and BAG curriculum development method of Germany were introduced and used for reference, and the professional curriculum system set up by the college was adjusted and optimized.

At the same time, the college uses foreign advanced vocational education concepts and teaching models to carry out integrated education and teaching reform characterized by vocational activity orientation. In cooperation with Beijing Qianqiuye Education Consulting Co., Ltd., Chen Wei, secretary of the Employment Training Technical Guidance Center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, was hired as a consultant, and at the same time, many well-known domestic vocational education experts such as Dr. Zhao Zhiqun were hired to train and guide the vocational activity-oriented curriculum development research of the college.

The reporter learned that under the guidance of the idea of "three connections", the college has continuously strengthened the construction of software and hardware, which has enabled the college to enter a period of rapid development, gradually improved the conditions for running a school, rapidly expanded the scale of running a school, significantly improved the quality of running a school, and significantly enhanced its strength.

In 2002, Dean Tong Huaqiang was named "National Advanced Individual in Vocational Education"; In 2003, the college was rated as "advanced unit of vocational education in Beijing"; In 2006, the College was rated as "Advanced Unit of Systematic Education and Teaching in Beijing Technical School", and was recognized as "National Demonstration Training Base for Key Teachers of High-skilled Talents" and "National Training and Appraisal Point for CNC Teachers and Technicians in Vocational Colleges" by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

Management oriented to social science

In the interview, Dean Tong Huaqiang told the reporter that the college was formerly the Chemical Technical School of Beijing Chemical Industry System. When the Industrial Technician College was founded, there was no fundamental change in the specialty setting. With the adjustment of Beijing's industrial structure and layout, especially the success of Beijing's Olympic bid, the traditional chemical technical school has no foothold.

In order to find a new way out, the college organized relevant personnel to do a lot of social research, and repeatedly discussed the issue of professional construction and market integration.

According to the adjustment of Beijing's industrial structure and the demand of the labor market, the college has made great adjustments to its specialty settings: the chemical specialty that is inconsistent with Beijing's development plan has been cancelled, and a professional system oriented to Beijing's secondary industry has been established, with CNC machining application technology, automobile application and maintenance as brand majors, environmental protection and biopharmaceuticals as characteristic majors, and electromechanical application and computer application as backbone majors.

This major adjustment is a revolution in major construction in the history of college development, which fundamentally reverses the embarrassing situation that chemical vocational colleges in Beijing are unsustainable and realizes the real goal of integrating major construction with the market.

It is worth pondering that the reason why the college can successfully realize the professional adjustment in a short time is that on the one hand, it benefits from the vision and courage of the college leaders, on the other hand, it can not be separated from the scientific and standardized management system of the college.

The reporter learned that in the management system, the college implements the dean responsibility system and manages according to ISO900 1 international quality management system standards. It consists of academic affairs office, academic affairs office, marketing department (enrollment, employment, training and appraisal), vocational education research institute and college office. The employment rate of graduates is over 98%, and the annual social training appraisal volume reaches 9000.

GB/TISO900 1 quality management system is an internationally recognized scientific management method, and it is also an attempt to integrate the concept of running a school with the international standards. On June 5438+ 10, 2002, the college officially started management certification. After intense training, document drafting and layer-by-layer audit, the quality policy and quality objectives of the college were determined, and a quality manual, 40 program documents and 200 implementation documents were compiled. Audited by Beijing World Standard Certification Company, it obtained the certificate at the end of 2003.

In recent years, in combination with the adjustment of management organization, post responsibilities and the deepening of education and teaching reform, the college has continuously improved relevant documents to make them more practical and effective.

After passing the certification, the college revised the system documents three times, accepted the supervision and audit of the certification company twice, and passed the certification re-evaluation at the end of 2006, which was highly praised by the certification company, laying a solid management foundation for building and establishing the college brand.

Teacher's guarantee of teaching quality

In the past five years, the number of full-time students in the college has doubled to 9380, among which the number of senior engineers and technicians has increased from less than 100 when the school was founded to 1309.

Teachers' quality is the key to improve teaching quality. In order to continuously improve the quality of teachers, the college strengthens the training and education of in-service teachers from the following three aspects: first, the college formulates corresponding training plans for teachers every year, encourages teachers to study their business and continuously improves the level of education and teaching; Second, put forward vocational skills requirements for newly graduated college students, which must reach the advanced level of work during the internship and be included in the regular assessment; Third, young teachers related to CNC and auto repair majors must attend the learning system technician class organized by the college to lay a solid foundation for integrated teaching.

Dean Tong Huaqiang told the reporter that the college decided to organize teachers from all departments and groups in the hospital to attend public classes and observe classes from this year, with the aim of helping teachers deepen their understanding of the teaching mode of comprehensive courses and improve their ability to grasp the teaching of comprehensive courses, thus further ensuring the quality of classroom teaching and the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability.

After several years of training, tempering and practice, the college has created a team of professional teachers who love their jobs and have high professional level, among which a number of outstanding talents have emerged: Zhu, director of the CNC Department, is the leader of the innovative team of CNC specialty in Beijing. As one of the youngest numerical control experts in China, he participated in the compilation and formulation of the national numerical control professional qualification standard, undertook the national course "Research on Technician Training Mode and Curriculum Development", made outstanding achievements in the field of numerical control specialty, and was awarded the title in 2006. Yang Yifeng, a CNC teacher, was the champion of the milling group in the CNC Skills Competition for Workers in Beijing Trade Union System in 2005, and was awarded the "May 1st" Labor Medal in Beijing.

In addition, the college has gathered a group of experts and skilled experts from Beijing and even the whole country as members of the professional construction advisory Committee and part-time teachers. For example, Jin Fuji, deputy chief technologist of Beijing Machine Tool Research Institute, deputy chief referee of the National Numerical Control Skills Competition, professor of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, deputy chief referee of the National Numerical Control Skills Competition, and senior appraiser Song, etc.

Increase investment and advanced facilities.

In the past five years, the college has invested more than 98 million yuan to enrich and improve various training and experimental facilities such as numerical control, automobile maintenance, electromechanical, environmental protection pharmacy and computer specialty. And purchased a number of world-leading training and experimental equipment, which provided hardware guarantee for the cultivation of high-skilled talents and the improvement of their quality.

Dean Tong Huaqiang told the reporter that the guiding ideology of the college is "zero-distance integration with enterprises and advanced technologies", that is, through enterprise and market research, the purchase and use of training equipment and facilities should not only conform to the current production practice of enterprises, but also consider the development prospects of enterprise production technology, so as to meet the students' study in school and the production environment after graduation and meet the needs of future production technology development.

It is reported that the college not only equipped the world-leading "DMG five-axis machining center" and "DMG turning and milling compound machining center" in the NC training workshop, but also equipped various modern automobile inspection and maintenance equipment in the auto repair training workshop, which far exceeds ordinary auto repair shops and 4S shops.

At present, it has 6,000 square meters of CNC professional training ground and more than 280 sets of equipment (including CNC machining training center, special machining training center, high-end CNC technology training center, CNC maintenance and testing training center, Swedish Sander tool application technology training center, Israeli Simeichuang programming training center, etc.); The training field of auto repair specialty is 5500 square meters, with more than 400 sets of equipment; The training ground for electromechanical specialty is more than 3,000 square meters, with nearly 1000 sets of equipment.

Among them, the training venues of CNC, auto repair, environmental protection pharmacy, electromechanical and other majors can meet the training needs of skilled personnel at different levels such as intermediate workers, senior workers and technicians.

On the basis of having such rich training equipment, the college also undertakes a large number of social training and appraisal functions. Now it has become a socialized training and appraisal base for technicians in different positions, such as Beijing 033 Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute, National Computer Rank Examination Training Point and Test Center, National Computer Information High-tech Examination Station and Beijing Property Administrator Appraisal Station.

In July 2007, the majors of CNC, auto repair, environmental protection and mechatronics were recognized by Beijing Labor and Social Security Bureau as the public training base of vocational skills in Beijing.

In-depth reform has achieved remarkable results.

In the process of preparation, the college has been exploring the reform of education and teaching. With the gradual deepening of the knowledge and understanding of the development law of vocational education, the college participated in the topic of "Research on Vocational Activity-oriented Curriculum Model" organized by the Ministry of Labor in 2004, and was listed as one of the eight core colleges of national vocational education and teaching reform.

Dean Tong Huaqiang told the reporter that in the past two years, the college has focused on the majors of numerical control and automobile maintenance, and adopted various methods such as investigation, comparative analysis and case analysis to pilot and explore the development of vocational activity-oriented curriculum mode, accumulating experience in practice, cultivating teams and driving other majors to reform together.

The main methods are as follows:

Market research is the basis of vocational activity-oriented curriculum development. The college conducts surveys in the form of interviews, seminars and questionnaires around enterprises, labor market, students and teachers. Through investigation, the employment posts and post groups corresponding to the two majors of CNC and auto repair are determined, and the professional training objectives and professional talent specifications are defined. On this basis, the work tasks, workflow and professional ability are analyzed.

Work task, work process analysis and professional ability analysis are the key points of vocational activity-oriented curriculum development. The specific analysis process is progressive step by step according to the hierarchical relationship of occupation → post → work content → work task → work flow → work behavior.

Curriculum design is the key to vocational activity-oriented curriculum development. On the basis of analyzing the knowledge points and skill points contained in enterprise tasks, starting from the knowledge levels and skill structures required by different positions, the course modules, teaching objectives and lesson plan templates are designed according to the requirements of intermediate workers, senior workers, technicians and senior technicians, and a curriculum system with the cultivation of professional ability as the main line is constructed.

Compiling teaching documents and school-based textbooks is the result of vocational activity-oriented curriculum development. Vocational activity-oriented teaching documents include curriculum plan, curriculum standard and teaching plan. According to students' learning psychological needs, the college has designed and developed three curriculum schemes, namely CNC lathe, CNC milling machine and automobile operation and maintenance, and the 17 curriculum standard. At the same time, mathematics, Chinese, English, professional ethics and career guidance are also adjusted with the characteristics of the major.

Teaching practice This is a test of the development achievements of vocational activity-oriented curriculum. Since 2005, the college has carried out the experiment and effect monitoring of vocational activity teaching method in 2 1 teaching classes of CNC, automobile maintenance, electromechanical, biopharmaceuticals and computers. By attending open classes and attending lectures, students' classroom reactions are collected, students' emotions and professional acceptance are understood, teaching samples of pilot teachers are evaluated, and teaching samples and teaching methods are further modified and improved according to the monitoring results.

The reporter learned that the establishment of vocational activity-oriented curriculum system not only effectively improved the level of students' vocational ability training, but also stimulated students' interest and enthusiasm in learning.

Since 2006, the leaders of the Training Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Education Department of the Ministry of Finance and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Labor and Social Security have visited the College for many times to guide the work. They fully affirmed the achievements made in the reform of teaching and scientific research in the college, and believed that the reform of teaching and scientific research in the college represented the basic trend and development direction of high-skilled personnel training in the future.

The quality of school-enterprise cooperation is remarkable.

Training senior engineers, technicians and senior technicians has been the development direction and goal of the college since its establishment. In the training of senior engineers, technicians and senior technicians, the college strictly follows the policy of "quality first" and strictly follows the standards of high-skilled talents in curriculum setting, teacher allocation, professional theory and practical operation.

According to the characteristics of cultivating applied talents, the college has always regarded school-enterprise cooperation as an important way to cultivate talents ―― In early 2006, the college signed an agreement with the talent exchange service center of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone to establish an education and training base for high-skilled talents.

In March, 2006, the "Opening Ceremony of the Authorized Training Center of Cimatron Corporation of Israel" made the Institute the only software training base of Cimatron Corporation of Israel in Beijing. The company provided the college with free electronic software worth $3.38 million.

In April, 2006, the College and Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. jointly held the "Seminar on Training Mode of Senior Talents in Automobile Application in Beijing". Previously, the company presented two complete vehicles, seven accident vehicles, a dozen engines, gearboxes and a large number of auto parts to the college. In addition, the company also provided forty or fifty vehicles with preferential prices to the college, which provided substantial conditions for students' practical operation.

In July 2007, the Institute reached an agreement with sandvik Tool Company of Sweden to establish a tool application technology training center in the Institute.

It is reported that in the past two years, the College has established close cooperative relations with Beijing Hyundai Motor Company, Mercedes-Benz Automobile Company, SMC (China) Company, CAXA Software of Beihang University, Simeichuang Company, sandvik Tool Company of Sweden, Kenner Tool Company of the United States, NC Technology Company of Lantau Island, North Hongqi Precision Machinery Manufacturing Company, Huilong Qingyun Electromechanical Equipment Factory and other units.

With the deepening of reform and the improvement of the quality of education and teaching, the college has ensured the implementation of the vocational education policy of "employment-oriented and ability-centered". In terms of employment distribution, college students have basically achieved high-quality employment, that is, their professional knowledge and skills have been recognized by society and enterprises.

In recent years, the employment rate of college graduates has reached more than 98%, and the highest salary of students during their internship is 3,700 yuan/month. Many enterprises go directly to colleges to select students and set up their own "title classes". For example, SMC has set up "SMC seedling class", "SMC advanced workshop class" and "SMC technician class" in the numerical control specialty of the college. North Red Flag Company established "Red Flag Class"; Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. opened a "modern class" in the auto repair major of the college; Diane Company of the United States set up Diane classes in the college and set up scholarships for Diane classes, among which the first-class scholarship is 3,000 yuan per person per year.
