Interview with China, a teacher of American Dali Association -20 18
? As the flagship project of Hanban ordinary volunteers, the American University Council project is the ultimate goal of many international education professionals in China. It's 20 18 10, and the annual Dali club project is about to start registration. Recently, a friend asked me about the process of registration and interview. Let me share it with you while I still remember it.

? Dali Club is a domestic in-service primary and secondary school teacher with more than two years of full-time teaching experience. Volunteers returning to China ... need to have the qualification certificate of primary and secondary school teachers in China, and it is best to drive. If you are unemployed before registration, you need to find a temporary primary and secondary school in China when you register. The affiliated primary and secondary schools agree to recommend you to the United States as a recommendation unit, and there will be many recommendations stamped by the recommendation unit in the future.

? Dali Club Project has two rounds of interviews: China interview and American interview. Chinese interview in June+February, 5438, the specific process is the same as that of ordinary volunteers. Because I was a volunteer when I interviewed in China, and I was still in Korea, according to the regulations, I only need to attend an interview in the United States.

? After passing the Chinese interview, you will be eligible for the American interview in March of the following year. The interview method of the US has been adjusted since last year. There used to be only English interviews. Later, I found that some teachers were good at English, but their Chinese teaching ability was limited, so I began to increase Chinese group interviews. The examiners for Chinese group interviews are all from China, who have worked in the United States for many years and are familiar with the current situation of Chinese teaching in the United States. In the Chinese interview, five teachers walked into the classroom as a group. Everyone needs to introduce themselves first, watch three real classroom teaching videos in the United States, and then comment on the video content. Including which class do you think is more conducive to learning in the video (I watched it almost at that time, but I didn't see the difference), which teacher handled the problem properly in the video, and how do you look at the content in a video. I also asked them how much they know about the teaching situation in primary and secondary schools in the United States and rated themselves. After the interview in China Group, all five people went out and then went in for an interview one by one. My personal interview question is: What percentage do you think China people have better classes? If you go to America, your colleagues see you eating lunch alone and think you are unsociable, and the principal asks you, what will you do?

? There are two examiners in the English interview, one is a native American and the other is a Chinese-American. English has always been used in English interviews. During my two years in Korea, I made great progress in Korean, but I almost forgot my poor oral English ~ I took a one-month crash course in English interview, and the effect was quite good. At least I have some sense of language and confidence when I speak English. The examiner was very friendly, and the native American came out to shake hands with me before entering the exam. Then go in for a minute to introduce yourself and talk about your teaching experience. So my question is: If you are admitted, will you stay for three years? How to attract students' attention? Have you ever heard of the "student-centered teaching method"? How to understand it? Some schools have you and a teaching assistant, and some students ask the teaching assistant if they have any questions in class. Don't ask what you do? What level do you want to teach? Do you like the country or the city? Can you drive? Do you have a driver's license? Then there will be a five-minute trial. The trial will give you some topics, markers and A4 paper, and design your own ideas. After about two or three minutes, you can signal the teacher to start the trial. Try to talk about some basic issues, such as family, sports and numbers. Imagine the teacher as an American student who knows nothing. After the exam, the examiner will ask you if you have any questions, and then symbolically ask what you care about, and it will be done.

? If the interview is successful, there will be a month of intensive training in Beijing Normal University in May. But the goal was achieved, and the pain was worth it.

? Come on! Let's contribute to the Chinese education in the United States ~
