Requirements for hours of continuing education in banks
According to China's Measures for the Administration of Continuing Education for Banking Professionals, every natural year is a continuing education cycle from the year after the qualification certificate is approved. The time for holders of bank qualification certificates to participate in continuing education is not less than 90 hours per cycle. Among them, the online or face-to-face education and training completed by the banking supervision department, China Banking Association and local banking associations (academic and public), financial institutions, institutions of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education and other qualified education and training institutions shall not be less than 30 hours.

If completed by other means, continuing education and study shall be no less than 60 hours, including regular reading and study of financial newspapers, books and materials. Participate in financial research and academic exchanges, such as the compilation of teaching materials and examination papers for banking vocational qualification examinations. Engaged in financial related work. Participate in and pass the national financial related professional and technical qualification examination. Published papers in domestic economic and financial journals with uniform number (CN). Publicly publish financial books independently or in cooperation with others.
