Second, the historical evolution:

Lufeng City was Baipudi in the Spring and Autumn Period, and it belonged to Yunnan in the Warring States Period, Qin Dynasty and the Early Western Han Dynasty. BC 109, that is, in the second year of Yuanfeng in the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, pacified Southwest Yi, established Yizhou County and led 24 counties. The earliest county in Lufeng was named Qinzang County. In the first year of Longchang in the Southern Dynasty (494), Qingzang County and Shuangbai County were separated from Jinning County and placed in Yi Xi County. During the Sui Dynasty, Qinghai-Tibet County belonged to Zhou Kun. During Nanzhao period, because the salt produced by Heijing and Lang Jing was "white and delicious", these two wells were directly under the jurisdiction of Nanzhao royal family. After the establishment of Yunnan Province, in the 24th year of Yuan Dynasty (1287), Roots Prefecture was changed to Roots County, and it was placed under Anning Prefecture. Roots county in the east governs the three towns of Roots; Lufeng County in the central part governs Jinshan, Nakamura, Heping, Tuguan and Michuan; Guangtong County in the west governs Yipinglang, Cai Yun, Guangtong Town, Gao Feng Township, Tuoan Township and the area east of Longchuan River in Heijing Town. The area west of Longchuan River is still under the jurisdiction of Dingyuan County. The southern dinosaur town is under the jurisdiction of Yimen County. In the sixth year of Yuan Dynasty (1340), Heiyanjing set up the salt class promotion department to manage the salt class. In the Qing Dynasty, Lufeng County and Roots County were under the jurisdiction of Yunnan, and Guangtong County was under the jurisdiction of Chuxiong.

Lufeng city is located between 24 51′ ~ 25 30 ′ north latitude and10138 ′ ~102 35 ′ east longitude. Jinshan Town, the resident of the Municipal People's Government, is 97 kilometers away from Kunming, the provincial capital, and 85 kilometers away from Chuxiong, the state capital. It is connected to Fumin County, Anning City and Xishan District of Kunming in the east, Shuangbai County and Yimen County of Yuxi City in the south, Chuxiong City and Mouding County of Chuxiong Prefecture in the west, and Yuanmou County and Wuding County of Chuxiong Prefecture in the north. Lufeng is not only an important part of the urban economic circle in central Yunnan, but also the only way for Kunming to reach western Yunnan. Chengdu-kunming railway and chengdu-kunming railway double tracks, the economic arteries of Yunnan, cross the whole territory. Wuyi Expressway, Anchu Expressway and Kunchu Expressway are distributed in a "well" shape in the city. National Highway 320 and Wu 'an Line are closely connected with the urban road network. The total mileage of highways in the city is 4,737.666 kilometers, which basically realizes the connection between towns and villages.
