A corrective social work to help criminals understand the nature of crime, turn over a new leaf and rebuild their personality. The objects of probation education are different in different countries. Some countries are dominated by juvenile criminals, while others include adult criminals or students with psychological barriers and behavioral deviations. The purpose of probation education is to help the educated actively transform themselves, establish normal social relations with others, and form behaviors and lifestyles that conform to social norms. The main methods are as follows: ① Talk with the educational objects and conduct reasoning education, so that they can realize the concern of society and stimulate their self-motivation; (2) create an atmosphere of security and trust, eliminate their worries and ease their nervousness; (3) Help the educated to understand the society and treat employment, further education, family responsibilities, friends' communication, value standards, behavior norms and other issues rationally; (4) Cooperate with doctors to carry out psychotherapy on the educated object, so as to change their personality and behavior; ⑤ Help the educated to feel and adapt to the new living environment, and eliminate opposing emotions and self-abandonment; ⑥ Mobilize and organize schools, families and social forces, carry out various activities to help and teach, and give ideological, economic and life support and help to the educated.
