The full text of "Social Opera" has two parts. The text is excerpted from the second half, which describes the author's past experience of watching social operas as a child and shows his memories and nostalgia for his childhood.

Childhood is a happy and wonderful experience for many people. When I recall the past as an adult, I have a romantic feeling about the people and things at that time. The author of this paper has created a group of simple and lovely images of rural children, such as Double Happiness, A Fa and Gui Sheng. These friends are smart and lively, bold and cautious, warm and friendly. "I" can't see the play, "they all sigh and express sympathy"; When sailing, "the little one will sit in the cabin with me and the big one will gather at the stern" just in case; Guisheng bought soybean milk in the theater and politely scooped water for "me"; On the way home, Afa suggested "stealing" his own beans on the grounds that "ours are much bigger". These are the outstanding manifestations of their innocence and childlike innocence.

Double happiness is the cleverest of his friends. Like his friends' little leaders, his personality is also the most prominent: cautious and smart. When "I" can't see the play and "I want to cry", Shuangxi can immediately come up with a "good idea" and give the reason that "my grandmother and my mother believe"; I was disappointed that the steel-toed old man didn't do somersaults at night. Shuangxi comforted "me" with "who wants to show his skills in vain", showing kindness and thoughtfulness like a big brother; He can make up his mind. When Lao Dan sang endlessly, everyone was tired of going home. It was he who proposed to go home. On the way back, everyone stole Afa's beans. After the double happiness, they advised everyone to "steal more, if Afa's mother knows, she will cry and scold", which shows that he is very considerate of others.

The scenery description in this paper is very distinctive. Using freehand brushwork, the author describes the pictures of sailing on a moonlit night, watching a play at the bow and returning home at midnight from the aspects of color, smell and sound, which is full of water town characteristics. The color is like the green of beans and wheat, the light black of distant mountains, the bright moonlight, the red of fishing lights and the white of ships. Smells such as the "fragrance" of beans, wheat and aquatic plants; The sound is like the "gurgling" sound of a ship, the laughter of children, and the "swaying and melodious" sound of a flute. It is written simply, cleanly and vividly. The author also uses various metaphors, personification and other techniques, such as expressing the speed of the ship and setting off the distant mountains. "The light black undulating mountains, like the passionate iron beast ridges, all run far to the stern"; The direct description of the ship, "the ship is like a big white fish carrying a group of children in the waves", turns static into dynamic, and enhances the effect of scenery description.

Second, the problem research

1. Why does the author say that Pingqiao Village is my paradise?

The country with simple folk customs is indeed a happy and free paradise for a child who grew up in a feudal family and was bound by various rules. As a guest, the author "gets preferential treatment here" and catches shrimp as usual, and my friends take good care of me. This kind of love and care is vividly shown in the section of "watching social dramas". Here, "I" can avoid reading those old and useless classics, and there are not so many rules to follow. Even if "I hit the squire", "no one in the village will come up with the word" offend ". For the "I" who was suppressed in the feudal moral order since childhood, such freedom is a precious enjoyment; Moreover, you can get close to nature in the countryside, and "digging earthworms", "fishing for shrimps" and "herding cattle" are undoubtedly fresh, interesting and charming compared with the life of "me" in the city house.

2. What is the image of Father June 1st?

The father-in-law of June 1 day is an image of a simple villager. On June 1, my father-in-law only blamed the children for stealing his beans, saying that they "didn't want to pick them well, and they broke a lot." When he heard that picking beans was for a treat, he immediately said "of course". He is not a stingy person. Later, he personally delivered beans, which shows his warm and hospitable personality. "I" praised him and "I am grateful", which reflected his honest and kind nature as a farmer. As for his boasting that "I have studied" and "I will definitely win the first prize in the future", it is just like his boasting that a child is smart today and will definitely be admitted to a good university in the future. There are also views that although Father June 1st is a good man, he has the limitations of farmers. His admiration for "I" shows that he was deeply influenced by feudal ethics, which was inevitable at that time.

Practice note

1. At the end of the article, it says, "Really, until now, I really haven't eaten good beans like that night, and I won't watch the drama like that night any more." How to understand this ending? Have you ever had such an experience in your life?

This question is intended to let students know the thoughts and feelings expressed by the author in the article.

In fact, the play that night made people yawn and swear, and it was really common to eat beans that night the next day. The so-called "good beans is like that night" and "Drama is like that night" represent the author's fond memories of his innocent, free and interesting childhood, full of romantic ideals, and show his desire and pursuit for the ideal realm of life.

Second, sailing on a summer night and returning home on a moonlit night are wonderful descriptions of the scenery. What did you see, hear and feel, sailing on a summer night to set off my urgent mood? What's the difference between going home on a moonlit night and going to the theatre?

The purpose of this question is to let students know the writing characteristics of this article.

What you can see: the moonlight is hazy in this steam. The faint black rolling hills, like warm iron ridges, all ran to the stern. ..... gradually vaguely see Zhao Zhuang, ... there are still some ignition, ...

What do I hear: I seem to hear the song floating ... the sound is probably the flute, dancing and melodious. ...

I returned to China the following month and wrote an interesting story about all my friends "stealing" Podocarpus. I was in a hurry when I went, always thinking that the ship was slow. At this time, my friends and I are in a very happy mood.

Try to find the following words and answer the questions in brackets.

1. My heavy heart suddenly relaxed, and my body seems unable to express it in words.

What kind of mood do "relaxation" and "stretching" express "me"? )

2. The faint black rolling hills, like warm iron ridges, all ran to the stern.

Why does the mountain say "enthusiastic"? )

3. Looking back at the stage under the light, just like the first time, it is as ethereal as a castle in the fairy mountain, covering Xia Hong.

("Looking back" shows the feeling of "I"? What kind of situation does the cover show? )

Unexpectedly, my father-in-law was so grateful on June 1. He gave a thumbs-up and proudly said. ...

(Why should Father June 1st be "grateful" when someone steals beans? )

This question is intended to make students taste the deep meaning of language.

1. "Relaxation" and "stretching" are in sharp contrast to the previous article, showing the joy and lightness of "I".

2. Write mountains with the verb "enthusiasm" to bring still life to life. The meaning of this word is different from now. The author creatively endowed the word with new meaning.

The word "looking back" expresses the feeling of "I". The "mask" vividly expresses the fantastic scene on the stage and echoes the coming time.

4. Because I, a student in the city, praised his beans. It shows the simple and honest character of father-in-law Liu Yi.

4.△ Some people think that there is too little content in this article to write social drama directly, but there is too much outside the content. It is suggested to change the title to a topic like "One Night in Pingqiao Village". Do you agree with this view? Why? If you are interested in this, you might as well hold a group meeting to discuss this problem.

This question is intended to let students play their initiative in learning and deepen their understanding of the text.

Answer by the students according to their own opinions.

Teaching suggestion

First, this article mainly recalls happy childhood memories, which should be the focus of teaching. Some people think that this article criticizes feudal ethics and criticizes the dark society. This view is somewhat biased and should be avoided in teaching.

Secondly, some problems, such as friends "stealing" beans and fathers-in-law "being grateful" on June 1st, may be beyond students' understanding according to the current moral values, so they should be properly guided and explained in teaching.

Third, we can take this article as an opportunity to properly guide students to pay attention to the cultural customs of their hometown and carry out Chinese activities.

related data

A, "social drama" two topics (Song Juxuan)

There are two problems in Lu Xun's novel Social Drama, which have been ignored for various reasons. In the process of teaching, the author consulted some materials, which are now sorted out for reference.

About the time of watching social drama

"Social Drama" wrote: "This is the custom in our town of Lu. Every married daughter will go back to her family for the summer if no one is in charge. At that time, although my grandmother was still in good health, my mother had already shared some housework, so I couldn't go back to the province for many days in summer, and I had to take time to stay for a few days after sweeping the grave. At this time of the year, I am at my grandmother's house with my mother. " He also said that Zhao Zhuang wanted to act. "Now I think it's either the Spring Festival Evening or the social drama." Text annotation cloud: the spring competition is "a competition held in spring". Accordingly, it is generally believed that the time to watch social dramas is in spring. In fact, this is not accurate. The time to watch social drama should be in early summer. There are three reasons for this:

First, "Social Drama" said that I went to my grandmother's house "after sweeping the grave". So, when will Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province sweep the grave? According to the "Yue Yan Customs Department", there are three times a year. First, there are several children and grandchildren who use incense sticks to pay homage to the grave. The second is "going to the grave, that is, sweeping the grave. Before and after Tomb-Sweeping Day, there were big ships and drums, and men and women's children and grandchildren went to the grave to help sacrifice Luo Bai, which was called "the city of going to the grave"; The third is "sending cold clothes, in the name of offering sacrifices to the tomb in October, only a few people." The author of Yue Proverbs, Zibian, is from Huangfuzhuang, Shaoxing. Lu Qingxuan, Lu Xun's grandfather, moved to Huangfuzhuang after winning the bid and rented a house in Fan Xiaofeng. His words are credible. According to Zhou Zuoren's memory, "the custom of the Zhou family's grave-sweeping sacrifice is that only men go to the grave and send cold clothes", while "Tomb-Sweeping Day's grave-sweeping will be much bigger, not only because women go together, but also because there are three ceremonies to be done and some old ostentation and extravagance." Comprehensive analysis of all these materials, there is no doubt that "social drama" in the grave, is to visit the grave in Tomb-Sweeping Day. According to Gu Tieqing's Jia Qinglu Volume III, the so-called Tomb-Sweeping Day does not only refer to the day of Tomb-Sweeping Day, but "the day before Qingming Zhixia". Then, of course, the "after sweeping the grave" mentioned in the novel should be in early summer.

Secondly, judging from the natural scenery described by social drama, it was also early summer. "Mung bean wheat field" and "Podocarpus in full bloom", the broad bean known as "Podocarpus" is a wintering plant in eastern Zhejiang, which will not bear fruit until Tomb-Sweeping Day, and will not be harvested until summer. When you can peel and cook, of course, it is in early summer. In addition, the novel also writes that the local rich families who watch social dramas "mostly come down to the stage to eat cakes, fruits and melon seeds", and fruits can only be found in summer.

Thirdly, Zhou Zuoren clearly wrote in "Characters in Lu Xun's Novels: Local Opera": "This article (referring to" social drama "-the author's note) said:' At that time, I didn't think why they performed every year. Now I think it is either a spring competition or a social drama.' This is a description of the topic, but in fact this kind of acting is probably in summer. "

According to the above reasons, I think we should watch social drama in early summer, not in spring.

The content of social drama performance

As for the content of the social drama performance, the novel describes it as follows: first, "a long black beard with four flags on his back is fighting with a group of shirtless people with a pike", and several shirtless people somersault and all go in, "then a little Dan comes out to sing" and then "a red shirt". What kind of play is this? According to the textual research of Xu Gan's Lu Xun and Yue Opera, this is Yue Opera Hanging Garden. The play tells the story that Qilu, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty, framed Zhongliang and made his son do evil and was finally punished. His son (the villain in the play) took his helper to Zhu Zaizhong Liang's home to rob relatives, and Zhu caught him and beat him until he wrote a defense (repentance). Take the cloud: less evil-grab the best; Who-trouble Miao; Young villains-grab the best again; Who?-turn a pig into a dog into a cat. In the novel, the clown in red tied to a post is the son, and the clown with a gray beard is Zhong He.

According to Zhou Zuoren's recollection, the content of social drama written in the novel is "one of the wonderful contents of Shaoxing drama" and "helping leisure to attract childe to rob Jiao Jiao, and the result is to get to the bottom of it ... People who have seen it will never forget it, ... although he didn't say what it was". This memory is also completely consistent with the plot of hanging in the garden.

Second, the synaesthesia of life experience —— From "Social Drama" and "Flowers in the Morning" (Fan Boqun, Zeng Huapeng)

( 1)

"Really, until now, I really haven't eaten good beans like that night, nor have I seen a play like that night." The last sentence of Lu Xun's famous social drama has aroused many readers' thinking and reverie. Why are we strongly infected by this sense of loss in our works? Because this last sentence stretched out her slender fingers and touched our heartstrings, reminding us of our lost childhood forever, thus stirring up the accumulation in our hearts and causing "chord resonance." Everyone will use their own life experience to supplement and develop this "sense of loss", and will use "beauty" to give this sense of loss that will never return.

If the last sentence of social drama is deleted, I think the appeal of the work will be greatly inferior. If we delve into why this sentence has such a touching "charm", then its mystery lies in: Lu Xun used this sentence to arouse the reader's "life experience synaesthesia." "She" can ignite the emotional fire of our childhood memories, and everyone has this kind of "synaesthesia" burning point.

Childhood-for every adult, it will never disappear again. Every time I recall, there will always be a sense of melancholy loss. People will always pursue its beauty for those years that are lost forever and cannot be repeated, and then use their feelings to plate it with golden luster. Even in a worried childhood, we will find the "beauty of worry" in the rest of our lives because of the passage of time. The end of social drama is to induce people to recall this "beauty lost forever" and capture readers' hearts with the help of "life experience synaesthesia".

In the past, we kept our mouths shut about this objective "life experience synaesthesia" between people. We lack the necessary melting and application of the "best command" in this "reception aesthetics". This kind of "life experience synaesthesia" can make the feelings of the author and the reader melt into a furnace, and generate shines brilliantly. A writer who can find this kind of "life experience synaesthesia" has found a "secret weapon" to conquer the reader's mind. Lu Xun is a master who is good at mastering this "secret weapon". He said in the "small preface" of "Morning Flowers Pick Up in the Evening":

Once, I recalled many times the fruits and vegetables I ate in my hometown when I was a child: water chestnut, arhat bean, water bamboo and wax gourd. These are extremely delicious; Used to be the temptation to make me homesick. Later, I tasted it after a long separation, and that's it; Just in memory, there are old meanings. They may lie to me for the rest of my life and keep me looking back.

Indeed, this "homesickness", this review of childhood, and this "old meaning" in memory are actually not as beautiful as imagined. But we are consciously deceived and are willing to be deceived for a lifetime. What a wonderful and indescribable feeling it is! Perhaps Lu Xun has consciously discovered the shocking power of the last sentence in social drama, so the writer will bring up the past of Xiao Yin. But also very freely and skillfully used this skill, which made people "have a heart" in "Morning Flowers and Evening Picking". To talk about the big topic of "life experience synaesthesia", it involves an infinitely broad field. We just want to talk about homesickness and childhood nostalgia. Because "Flowers in the Morning" is a bewitch of Lu Xun after he left his hometown forever, and it is a pure memory of his exiled childhood. This is one of the most basic "synaesthesia" for people with good knowledge and ability, right?

The ending of "From Herb Garden to San Tan Yin Yue" has a strong "social drama" style. Lu Xun wrote a large book "Xiu Xiang" in the shadow of "Jingchuan Paper", "because he wanted money, he sold it to a rich classmate". At the end of the knot, he wrote: "His father runs a tin foil shop; It is said that I have become a shopkeeper now and will soon rise to the status of a gentleman. This thing is long gone. " This is also a melancholy sense of loss. This is the "mind trick" that I was most interested in describing when I was a child, not to mention a big book! This is the crystallization of pure childlike innocence. It is a pity that "the pearl casts a shadow". It's a pity that true feelings are defiled by the smell of copper. This has become a manned "quasi-gentleman", similar to the fat gentleman who "looked at me contemptuously" in the Beijing theater. "This thing is long gone." -childhood Lu Xun loved books. When his eldest mother bought him three famous books, he seemed to meet with a bolt from the blue. "Everyone was shocked." He said, "These four books are my first and most beloved treasures. The appearance of the book is still in sight. " Then, for Lu Xun, who was almost addicted to collecting picture books in his childhood, wouldn't he cherish the pictures he collected and wrote? What's more, there are "The Journey to the West's Dangkou Zhi and Xiu Xiang who have the most fragments". Isn't it "still in sight"? "Three pools on the Moon" is a living testimony that my childlike innocence was conquered by art when I was studying, but "This thing is long gone" conveys to us the "vanishing" of the aristocratic taste of childhood, which is an unusual form of loss.

(2)

In A Chang and Shan Hai Jing, Lu Xun ends with an eternal nostalgia: "Kind and dark mother earth, may her soul be in your arms forever!" This can also be seen as an example of using "synaesthesia" to let readers focus on their own experiences, think about their feelings, and pray for their relatives and close friends who are about to say goodbye.

For Lu Xun, remembering his eldest mother has his own unique ideas. He expressed eternal nostalgia for the "nanny" left by the "buddy" who worked hard all his life and didn't even give her a name. The word "dragon" left by her "dragon mother" is just a "symbol" that "replaces" the tall body of a former female worker in Zhou family. In the Zhou family, in fact, she is just "a regular second". Lu Xun wrote most of it, giving us the impression of a clumsy "yellow, fat and short" stupid woman. Brother Xun doesn't know her and his respect for her has never been firmly established. However, when Brother Xun "longed" for the illustrated book of Mountains and Seas and could not start all over again, the eldest mother remembered it differently. In my thirst for tasteless food and sleep, "I can get it without hard work": that's because this stupid woman went to a bookstore she had never been to before when she went home on leave: "I bought it for you". The root of all this is "love". The fruit of this "love" is the great satisfaction of Xunge's childlike innocence.

This has brought me new respect. She can succeed in anything that others refuse to do or cannot do. She really has great power.

This "divine power" is backed by "love". When we use this kind of "love" to re-evaluate some words and deeds of our eldest mother, we will get an unprecedented "benign reaction" Her love for Brother Xun sometimes just doesn't love him.

When the writer wrote A Chang and Shan Hai Jing, this "favorite book" was "I don't remember when I lost it". And this "great satisfaction of childlike innocence" is permanently imprinted in my mind; This "deep well of love" hidden under the rough shape will never be exhausted. So Lu Xun, according to his eternal memory, cried affectionately: "kind and dark mother earth, may her soul be in your arms forever!" " "

As readers, of course, we are wandering along the writer's thoughts. But in addition to following the author's mind, there will be an association, and the driving force of this association is "synaesthesia of life experience", which makes us remember our parting relatives and friends like the author and immerse ourselves in thousands of thoughts for a long time. If the last sentence of this article is deleted, can it have such a strong associative effect?

Similar to Chang and Shan Hai Jing is Fan Ainong. It has been 14 years since Lu Xun wrote this article, and Fan Ainong slipped and drowned. For the tragic death of his friend, Lu Xun not only wrote poems to mourn, but also "wanted to collect some money for his girl's future tuition fund, because once it was put forward, people would fight for the custody of the money-in fact, there was no such money at all, and everyone felt bored and disappeared invisibly." In this way, the memory of the deceased friend naturally becomes the memory of the orphan. The last sentence of this sentence is: "I wonder how his only daughter is now?" If I had been at school, I would have graduated from middle school. "Reading here, the rough life and sudden death of an old friend who is penniless is extremely sad; The fate of orphans and widows is of great concern. In this vast sea of people, they are like a trickle, where do they flow? I wanted to do some practical memorial work for my dead friends and pour a little friendship into the orphans, but I can't treat Weili as a dilute wine. Personnel changes, whereabouts are erratic, and even I don't know where to go. According to the best estimate, 14 years later, the only young girl of this old friend "should have graduated from middle school." "This is an extension of the memory of an old friend, a destination for mourning feelings, and a blessing for orphans who are at a loss.

This last sentence can also arouse a kind of "life experience synaesthesia". Its formula is: "I wonder what the situation is now?" If it is in ..., it should be ... "This formula will make readers have many associations. Not only for mourning, but also for long-lost relatives and friends.

From social drama to flowers in the morning, we feel that Lu Xun often uses a "secret weapon", that is, "synaesthesia of life experience" The so-called "life experience synaesthesia" refers to the use of similar life experiences that readers often encounter to induce readers to associate. When this association resonates with readers, they unconsciously participate in a creative activity, which is to supplement and confirm the credibility of writers' works with their own life experiences. The more a writer can mobilize readers to actively participate in the creation of his works, it means that his works have been understood and accepted by readers at a higher level. Here, participating in Lenovo's creation is synonymous with profound understanding and acceptance, which is in direct proportion. The "best conductor" of empathy between writers and readers is "life experience synaesthesia". When the reader takes part in the creation with this kind of "synaesthesia", he feels that the writer's works are harmonious and perfect, which represents him to say what he wants to say.

This paper doesn't want to talk about the writing skills at the end of the article in general. "Synaesthesia of life experience" can not be exerted by just one sentence. It can be everywhere in writing and penetrate into the whole text. But Lu Xun can also make readers want to stop when they are about to put down their books. The book in my hand was put down, but the book of my life experience was opened again. We have to admire Lu Xun as a master who is good at grasping this kind of "life experience synaesthesia"!

Third, the ode to natural beauty —— A cultural interpretation of Lu Xun's novel Social Drama (Yao Dayong)

When I first read Lu Xun's novel Social Drama, I wondered why there was such a poetic novel in Scream-it was so incongruous with other chapters that directly denounced reality, such as Diary of a Madman, Hometown, The True Story of Ah Q and so on. If it is received at the same time as other works in Scream, another question that arises from it is: Why did Lu Xun paint such a quiet and beautiful picture while shouting loudly?

Reading "Social Drama" brings to mind a strong local flavor and simple human feelings. Hometown, with the rural areas in the south of the Yangtze River as the background, depicts the dilapidated and depressed rural areas in reality, while social drama shows another ideal rural picture in memory. The novel is about "I" when I was a child at my grandmother's house, and I took my children to see a social drama in a neighboring village. Everywhere is filled with the warmth of summer, and everything makes people feel so harmonious, natural and full of vitality. Pingqiao Village, the grandmother's home described by the author, is "a remote village near the sea and the river". This remote seaside village, less influenced by the secular, retains more natural simplicity and is a "pure land". The scenery in that place is intoxicating. When "I" and the children went boating and watching a play at night, "the fragrance of beans and wheat on both sides of the river and the grass at the bottom of the river mixed with water vapor and blew on my face; The moonlight is hazy in the steam. The rolling dark hills, like iron ridges of enthusiasm, all ran far to the stern. " "That sound is probably the flute, euphemistic and melodious, which calms my heart, but I think I want to dissipate with him in the night wind with the smell of beans and wheat." The lyrical style depicts the water town under the moon as fresh, distant and dreamlike, emitting the fragrance of Jiangnan soil, and the author's love for his hometown is also faintly visible.

Here is not only beautiful scenery, but also simple human feelings. "In a small village, almost all the guests in the family are open." The people in the village are simple and hospitable, and the children get permission from their parents to reduce their work because of "I". They use "I" to dig earthworms, fish and shrimp, and herd cattle, which is full of childlike interest. They are smart, enthusiastic and lively, and it is with their help that "I" was able to embark on the social drama of that year. When sailing at night, "the boat is like a big white fish, jumping in the waves with a group of children on its back, and several old fishermen who have been fishing all night stop to watch and cheer." After coming back, because they were hungry, everyone discussed to "steal" the arhat beans together. Afa lets everyone choose for themselves, because their house is big. Later, on June 1, my father-in-law realized that everyone had "stolen" his arhat. Not only was he not angry, but he even sent me some specially. In addition, for example, grandma's kindness and mom's care also make people feel kind. In this small village near the sea, nature and human feelings are integrated, and the simplicity and simplicity of human feelings are as intoxicating and moving as the mountains and rivers there. Pingqiao Village is not only my "paradise", but also a new "Peach Blossom Garden" carefully created by the author.

The picture of hometown depicted in social drama is "the ideal in the author's mind". Lu Xun left his hometown a long time ago. What his hometown gave him was not all warm memories, but also many misfortunes and supercilious eyes. Lu Xun has a complicated feeling of giving up his hometown. Shaoxing, the hometown of Lu Xun, has beautiful natural scenery and has always been a place of outstanding people. The predecessors said that the beauty of its landscape is "thousands of rocks compete for beauty, thousands of valleys compete for flow, and plants are caged on it." If the cloud is prosperous, Xia Wei will be prosperous. " "Looking from the mountain path, the mountains and rivers set each other off, which is overwhelming." China's traditional agricultural society has cultivated people's deep love for their homeland, and Confucianism, the dominant ideology in history, has also attached great importance to human relations. Lu Xun was born in a scholarly family, and his attachment to his hometown has been integrated into his blood. When he left home at the beginning of the year, he said in a letter to his relatives, "When pedestrians are about to fall down on an oblique day, they are so angry that they look around, look at people who are not from their hometown and listen carefully to the language of a foreign land. When I think of my hometown in Wan Li, my old relatives and my weak brother will always talk to each other and say that they will go somewhere today. At this time, they really feel heartache and can't cry. " The beautiful scenery of his hometown was deeply imprinted in Lu Xun's heart. When he meets the storm of life, he will naturally think of the past and perfection of his hometown. In Sleeping Night, he saw a "good story" about his hometown (A Good Story of Weeds), which is also a "cold winter" in Beijing. When comparing with reality, we often use the ideal hometown picture in memory, and so do novels and social dramas.

It is called "social drama". The novel does not directly describe the social drama I watched when I was a child, but at the beginning describes my two experiences in Beijing as an adult. Those two plays were not optimistic, reflecting the chaos, dullness, sophistication and filth of the society at that time, which was in sharp contrast with my natural and simple life in Pingqiao Village when I was young. There are two hometowns in Lu Xun's mind, one is the realistic hometown depicted in Hometown, and the other is the ideal hometown shown in social dramas. He often sets off the broken hometown in reality with the perfection of his ideal hometown. Social drama does not describe the sufferings of the countryside positively, but it eulogizes the ideal hometown and criticizes the reality. Social drama can be said to be a concrete description of the dream of hometown, which contains deep love for hometown. The beauty of hometown is most clearly reflected in the people who live in it, and the healthy growth of people is the best display of social progress. In the crowd, children are very important because they are the future of society. Lu Xun has been deeply concerned about children's growth, and shouted "Save Children" in Diary of a Madman. In Hometown, where he was extremely disappointed with his hometown, he also saw the beauty of his hometown from the young leap soil and the hope from the children. For future generations, Lu Xun's wish as an elder is to "carry the burden of tradition, carry the dark door and let them go to a broad and bright place;" After that, live a happy life and be a reasonable person. " (Grave, how do we become fathers now?) The social drama in novels is also an ideal environment for children to grow up. From the collection of essays, we can not only see the author's deep nostalgia for the past, but also see Lu Xun in his early years, lively and full of childlike innocence and vigor. In A Chang and Shan Hai Jing, he mentioned that when he was a child, he loved to read Shan Hai Jing with pictures and texts, and he was curious about everything. From "Hundred Herbs Garden" to "San Tan Yin Yue", he not only described the lovely and interesting scenes in the Herbal Garden, but also described how he and his classmates folded plum blossoms in "San Tan Yin Yue" and described the novel "Xiu Xiang", from which we can see the author's persistent pursuit of nature and unwilling to be bound. Social drama is also the embodiment of this idea.

In the novel "Social Drama", "I" came to Pingqiao Village from Luzhen, which not only saved me from thinking about "being in a daze, but also allowed me to play freely with my friends. Pingqiao village is to Luzhen, just like a hundred-herb garden is to the three pools reflecting the moon. The former is an ideal environment for children to grow up, from which we can see the conflict between conservative book education and children's nature. It was on the way to see the social drama by boat that "I" found the beauty of the scenery that made people relaxed and happy, but it was even more boring than what I read from the famous books.
