The object of continuing medical education should participate in continuing medical education activities every year, and implement the credit system combining annual and stage, and obtain no less than 25 credits, with five consecutive years as a stage. Medical continuing education subjects in medical and health units of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall participate in the national medical continuing education project within five years and obtain no less than 10 credits.

A, a kind of credit calculation method

9. With the approval of the unit, those who have participated in the on-the-job diploma (degree) education of health technology specialty, passed the annual academic performance within the specified school year, or went to other units for professional study (including training abroad), or participated in medical service activities such as aiding Tibet, foreign aid and supporting agriculture, and participated in local continuing medical education. Those who pass the examination within 6 months of that year will be awarded Class II credits according to 4 credits per month.
