How to configure a wireless router if broadband does not require dial-up Internet access:
1. Connect the wireless router to the superior network device.
Connect the home network cable to the WAN port of the router. When the router's WAN port light flashes, the connection is successful.
2. The computer is wirelessly connected to the router.
The computer searches the router's wifi name (the default WiFi name is located on the nameplate on the back of the router) and connects to the WiFi network. The first time you use a router, you generally don't need to enter a wifi password.
3. Enter the wireless gateway configuration interface.
Open a browser and enter the ip address of the router gateway (generally192.168.1.1) to enter the gateway configuration interface. (The new route will automatically pop up this interface. )
4. Set the wireless router access mode.
Enter the WAN port settings in the advanced settings. Select DHCP automatic acquisition.
5. Set the WiFi name and WiFi password.
Enter wireless security in wireless settings and select WPA2-PSK as the security mode. WPA encryption rules select AES. Set the wireless network key.
6. After the setup is completed, the router will automatically restart. Please enter a new WiFi password to connect and access the network.
