Anren education has a long history. During the Jiading period of the Southern Song Dynasty, Anren founded Yufeng Academy and Qingxi Academy. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Qiu Nan Academy was built. In the forty-eight years of Qing Qianlong, Yixi Academy was founded. Until the end of the Qing Dynasty, there were 1 county academies and 13 family-style voluntary academies in the county. In the early years of the Republic of China, the county government encouraged ethnic schools and private schools, forming an educational pattern of paying equal attention to public and private schools. In the 27th year of the Republic of China (1938), there were 162 primary schools in the county, with 9,273 students, realizing one township, one center and one primary school. In the 30th year of the Republic of China (194 1), Anren County Junior Middle School was founded. 1946 county simple normal school was established.
