In 20001year, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council forwarded the fourth five-year plan of Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and the Ministry of Justice on carrying out legal publicity and education among citizens, and determined that the implementation date of China's current constitution, namely 65438+February 4th, was the annual national legal publicity day.
The state carries out constitutional publicity and education activities in various forms. People of all ethnic groups, all state organs and armed forces, political parties, social organizations, enterprises and institutions throughout the country must take the Constitution as their basic activity criterion, and they all have the responsibility to safeguard the dignity of the Constitution and ensure its implementation.
Propagandizing the Constitution is a concentrated expression of the will of the Party and the people and a fundamental law formed through scientific and democratic procedures. Propagandizing the leadership of the Party is the most fundamental guarantee for the implementation of the Constitution, publicizing the fundamental national system and tasks established by the Constitution and China's state system of government, publicizing the basic contents of the Constitution such as citizens' basic rights and obligations, and vigorously carrying forward the spirit of the Constitution.
