According to official website, the Education Bureau of Kunming, in order to strictly regulate the enrollment order of primary and secondary schools, as of July 29th, 2023, all junior high schools in Kunming are not allowed to enroll students who are not in school, and their enrollment status is not allowed to be suspended in the air. Violators will face administrative penalties. Borrowing students refer to students whose school status (or household registration) is inconsistent with their school (or location) due to reasons such as hukou and insufficient grades.
