1. Cultivating students with a second bachelor's degree belongs to post-undergraduate education at the level, and it is also a way to cultivate high-level professionals, just like cultivating graduate students.
2. According to the ten disciplines [1] stipulated in the Interim Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on Academic Degrees in People's Republic of China (PRC) (namely, philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, and medicine), generally, a certain undergraduate professional course is completed in one discipline, and it is allowed to graduate and obtain a bachelor's degree, and then study in another discipline.
If the country has special needs, with the approval of the State Education Commission, after completing a bachelor's degree in an undergraduate major in the same discipline category, then study for a second undergraduate major, complete all the requirements stipulated in the teaching plan, and be allowed to graduate with qualified results, a second bachelor's degree may also be awarded.
However, at present, in some colleges and universities, in order to arouse students' enthusiasm for learning and broaden their knowledge, students who are allowed to take elective courses across majors cannot be treated as studying for a second bachelor's degree and may not be awarded a second bachelor's degree.
