The book "Confucius' Educational Thoughts" has only more than 62,000 words. In such a space, it is impossible to discuss Confucius' ideological system in detail, especially the educational ideological system. At the same time, because Confucius' educational thought is closely related to his politics, ethics and philosophy, the discussion of educational thought is bound to be related to these aspects and compared with each other. Mr. Chen's book also has shortcomings in this respect. Nevertheless, the author put forward a lot of insights in the book, summed up Confucius' educational thoughts, and skillfully analyzed them by quoting classics, affirmed the reasonable factors and pointed out the views that should be abandoned. This book is an excellent work to introduce Confucius' educational thoughts, with compact and rigorous argumentation logic, distinct views and concise and important writing.
