How to correctly handle several relations in moral education
At present, efforts should be made to correct the phenomenon that some schools value intellectual education over moral education, academic performance over morality, and grades over ability, and to overcome the fact that some school leaders and teachers "teaching is a hard task and moral education is a soft task;" Scores are hard indicators, grades are soft indicators, moral education should serve intellectual education, the enrollment rate has gone up, and all work has gone up, which makes the idea of "educating people first, moral education first, teaching first and all-round development" really take root in the mind. At the same time, to fully understand the country's development and progress, relying on science and technology and education, only the enthusiasm for building socialism, but not the ability to build socialism. Schools must confidently grasp intellectual education and teaching quality. On the basis of unified understanding, schools should implement moral education from four aspects. The first is to straighten out the relationship. All kinds of schools at all levels should establish moral education leading bodies and offices, and make clear the responsibility of special personnel, so as to form a good situation of moral education work from top to bottom and in all directions. The second is to improve the system. It is necessary to establish and improve the system of regular moral education meetings, student management, recognition and reward. Second, the relationship between goals and tasks.

The overall goal of school work is to cultivate socialist builders and successors with ideals, morality, education and discipline. The goal of school moral education should be determined around the party's educational policy and school training goal, should follow the law of teenagers' ideological and moral formation, adapt to the requirements of social development, and scientifically plan the work goals, specific contents, implementation ways and methods of each educational stage according to the different characteristics of primary school, middle school and university students. Primary schools focus on cultivating the ability of "five loves" (love the motherland, people, labor, science and socialism) and "five selves" (self-study, self-care, self-improvement, self-care and self-discipline), and developing good moral behavior and civilized manners and habits; Junior high school focuses on cultivating good moral quality and law-abiding consciousness; Senior high school focuses on cultivating moral evaluation ability and legal concept, and initially establishes correct outlook on life, values and scientific thinking methods; Universities focus on cultivating students' correct world outlook, outlook on life, values and moral self-discipline. Third, the relationship between teachers and students.

To do a good job in moral education in schools, teachers are the key and students are the main body, so we must fully mobilize the enthusiasm of both sides. From the teacher's point of view, we should focus on solving two problems at present. First, we should implement the task of teaching and educating people to every teacher, overcome the phenomenon that some professional teachers don't educate people, and let every teacher really shoulder the responsibility of "human soul engineer"; Second, vigorously strengthen the construction of teachers' morality, so that every teacher loves his post, cares about students, sets an example and is a teacher by example. In order to meet this requirement, it is necessary to organize teachers to study politics and theory, improve their ideological and moral cultivation, and formulate relevant "ethics norms" to make teachers' words and deeds have rules to follow. As far as students are concerned, we should give full play to the role of the Communist Youth League, the Student Union, the Young Pioneers and other student organizations as a bridge and link, and unite and guide students to carry out self-education, self-management and self-service through these organizations. Second, we should give full play to each student's interest, find the bright spot in each student, and let them overcome their shortcomings with their own strengths.
