Beijing Electrical Engineering School, formerly known as Beijing Jiang Tai Middle School, was founded in 1975 and opened a vocational high school in 1984. In 2002 and 2007, it was awarded the National Education Administration Teaching Investigation Base and Vocational Education Teaching Research Base respectively. Later, the school was awarded the China Beijing 2008 Olympic Education Model School.

20 19- 10 passed the acceptance of the second batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units of the Ministry of Education.
