Significance of pedagogy

First, establish a correct view of education, grasp the laws of education and guide educational practice.

Education has its objective laws and does not depend on people's subjective will. Educators can only do well in education if they act according to the laws of education. Historical experience has proved that the law of education existed and played a role long before people knew it. Follow it, education will develop, progress and succeed; If it is violated, education will be frustrated, regressed and failed. For example, 1956, 1958 ~ 1960, 1978 "great adjustment and great contraction" after the Great Leap Forward and great development of education is a huge failure and loss because it violates the "law of mutual restriction between education and the development of social productive forces". However, the "Regulations on the Work of Colleges, Middle Schools and Primary Schools" formulated by the state after 198 1 has promoted the steady development of education and the continuous improvement of its quality because it conforms to the laws of education itself. Pedagogy systematically analyzes the different levels and aspects of educational phenomena and reveals the general and special laws in the field of education. If we can consciously act according to the law in educational practice, we will get twice the result with half the effort.

Second, establish a correct teaching concept, master teaching rules and improve teaching quality.

Some people say, "You can attend classes without studying pedagogy." Of course, although this phenomenon exists in reality, whether to study pedagogy and master teaching rules has a great influence on improving teaching quality. Because there are good and bad classes. An excellent and successful teacher, with the help of the theoretical wisdom of pedagogy, keenly observes the pulse of students' psychological activities in class, properly uses scientific educational environment and scientific educational methods, concentrates students' attention, stimulates their learning motivation, and "ignites" their thirst for knowledge, thus organizing the teaching process lively, harmonious and fruitful.

Third, master the law of students' ideological and moral development and do a good job in teaching and educating people.

The younger generation is the future and hope of the motherland, and their ideology and morality determine the future mental outlook of the Chinese nation. With the implementation of the policy of opening to the outside world and learning advanced western technology, it has also brought many new contradictions and many negative effects to the ideological and moral education in schools. Therefore, teachers should establish a correct view of talents, not only attach importance to imparting cultural knowledge to students, but also attach importance to ideological and moral education to students, that is, both "teaching" and "educating", and dialectically combine the two to improve students' ideological and moral quality and their ability to "resist" and "immunize" against adverse influences. Only in this way can we cultivate qualified talents and achieve the training goal.

Teenagers are easily influenced by the outside world and have strong plasticity. Only when teachers master the characteristics, laws, principles and methods of moral education process and base themselves on the needs of social development and the characteristics of students' physical and mental development can students' ideological consciousness, moral quality and behavior habits grow healthily according to the needs of modernization, and students are expected to become a new generation with sound personality, hard work and both ability and political integrity.

Fourth, build a reasonable and optimized teacher knowledge structure and improve the level of educational theory and practical skills.

Teachers' reasonable knowledge structure is not only a necessary condition to improve the level of educational theory and skills and adapt to teachers' professional needs, but also a fundamental guarantee for teachers to develop their intelligence, cultivate their ability and glow their creative spirit. Just as a person who lacks a solid foundation of ancient Chinese can't be an excellent archaeologist, a teacher who doesn't have a deep knowledge of pedagogy can't be an excellent teacher. Teachers' knowledge structure needs not only solid professional knowledge, but also extensive cultural and scientific knowledge and systematic educational knowledge. Only when the three factors are reasonably integrated and optimized can they produce complementary effects.
