Colleges and universities in China are divided into two categories: national education series colleges and non-national education series colleges:
1, the state-run institutions refer to the academic qualifications recognized by the state, and the academic certificates of the schools can be found on the China Higher Education Student Information Network;
2. Non-state educational institutions refer to private colleges and universities that can issue graduation certificates to students according to the Education Law of the People's Republic of China and the Law on the Promotion of Private Education. This certificate enjoys the same treatment as national education except that it cannot take the national judicial examination and civil service examination.
