"Field investigation" is a relatively new research method of pedagogy science, which is the progress of educational science research method. Foreign anthropology and sociology attach great importance to and popularize field work, such as "field investigation", "field investigation" and "field description". The field here has not only the meaning of the wild, but has actually become synonymous with "the scene". The field has become the generation point of a new theory, which can really solve problems not only in books and study, but also in the field practice-education and teaching. Therefore, only by changing the way of educational research can we really solve the problem.
Educational scientific research has been criticized by natural science researchers because it is not scientific enough and lacks field research. The application of fieldwork research method can transform ideal courses and formal courses into operational courses, and transform courses that teachers understand into courses that students experience and live. The place where students study is the place of curriculum reform, and the practical tendency of education sprouts here. Educational theory is not only to make experience and theoretical contributions, but also to apply it to practice, to enter the field, to really enter the curriculum, and to do field research is one of the new situations of educational research. It is precisely because our education has always been more experience and scientific orientation, lacking field and field research, divorced from reality, imitating and learning too much, and few theories based on educational practice and education field. Field investigation is of great significance to some specific fields in educational science research. Due to the different situations of different ethnic groups, our current educational research is more based on the research paradigm of most ethnic groups. Not paying more attention to the actual situation of ethnic minorities is not conducive to the inheritance of ethnic minority culture, and field investigation, a research method close to real life, is particularly important. Field investigation and research can establish a new research paradigm for the development of ethnic education in China, make ethnic education research closer to the current ethnic status quo, and also have important reference significance in other educational research fields. Of course, this reference is worth considering and discussing.
