The People's Republic of China (PRC) Family Education Promotion Law was adopted at the 31st meeting of the 13th NPC Standing Committee in People's Republic of China (PRC) on123 October, and is hereby promulgated and shall come into force on123 October 2022.

This law defines the concept of family education and stipulates that parents or other guardians of minors have the responsibility to carry out family education. At the same time, it stipulates the working mechanism of family education, the measures that the state supports family education, and the collaborative tasks of social forces such as schools for family education.
