Why should asthma patients be educated?
My internal care book says: Generally, inhaled corticosteroids are used to treat asthma, and there are few systemic adverse reactions. A few patients may have oral candidiasis (gargling with sodium bicarbonate and soda water), hoarseness or respiratory discomfort. Instruct patients to rinse their mouths with clear water immediately after inhaling drugs to reduce local reactions and gastrointestinal absorption. Attention should be paid to the adverse reactions of systemic medication such as obesity (centripetal), diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis and peptic ulcer, and oral medication should be taken after meals to reduce the irritation to gastrointestinal mucosa. Atomized inhalation of glucocorticoid can reduce its oral dose. When inhalants are used instead of oral dosage, it is usually necessary to gradually reduce the oral dosage after two weeks of simultaneous use, and instruct patients not to reduce or stop taking drugs by themselves.

That's all. I added some myself. I hope it works for you.
