Matters needing attention in blood sugar monitoring
1. Doctors or diabetes educators should check patients' self-monitoring technology 1-2 times a year, especially when the self-monitoring results are inconsistent with glycosylated hemoglobin or clinical conditions, they must check the quality control of their monitoring technology (including the monitoring of venous plasma glucose level and the consistency with hospital blood glucose monitoring).

2. The plasma glucose level is higher than the whole blood glucose level 10%- 15%. When explaining the blood sugar value, we should pay attention to whether the instrument used is plasma glucose or whole blood glucose.

3. Patients should write a blood sugar monitoring diary, which includes: blood sugar determination time, blood sugar value, meal time and amount, exercise time and amount, dose and time, and records of some special events.
