What is the definition, elements, structure and function of teaching system?

Analysis:

Firstly, the concept of system is explained: an organic whole with specific functions composed of two or more interrelated and interacting individuals is called a system.

Some characteristics of the system can be analyzed from the concept of the system:

1. All things and processes in the world are an organic whole, and they are self-contained and mutually systematic;

2. Each system and the surrounding environment can form a large system, and the original part can become a subsystem of this large system;

3. Each system changes and develops in the exchange of material, energy and information with the environment, thus achieving the dynamic stability and openness of the system. We can understand the school, teaching system, the division of teaching system levels and the school phenomenon shown by the movement of teaching system from the perspective of movement and system.

The concept of system shows that the system is an organic whole composed of several parts, with certain functions, and the parts are interrelated and interact with each other. Therefore, the concept of teaching system is a variety of educational and teaching organizational forms to achieve certain educational and teaching purposes and functions. Some keywords reflect the concept of the system. These words are: purpose, function, type and organizational form.

Because of the stable and open exchange between the system and the environment, the school system also has the operation process of material, energy and information input and output with the society: the development of society puts forward requirements for talents, and then provides various educational resources for the school and transports students. The school accepts these materials, energy and information, and begins to cultivate students into talents that meet the social requirements through various educational work. Finally, the trained students will be exported to the society, and whether the feedback information after social inspection meets the training objectives and the teaching work of the school will be adjusted through the evaluation of the students, so as to ensure the dynamic stability between the teaching system of the school and the social environment.

If we look at the school's self-contained system from the standpoint of the school, then the school is a big system, and all departments in the school are subsystems of the big system. In these subsystems, students, teachers, teaching resources and teaching media are the four basic elements of the teaching system. Through the relative movement of these four basic elements, the teaching system produces a complex operation process of input and output among various systems, which ensures the dynamic stability and openness of various systems within the school system (this is the most essential feature of the system), and this operation process is called the teaching process.

Barnasi, a famous American educational technology expert, believes that the teaching system is a hierarchical system complex. This classification can also be understood from the perspective of the system. Through hierarchical division, the teaching system design theory can be applied more pertinently. Different levels have different levels of regulations and operable teaching design methods and technologies. These levels are: system level system, management level system, teaching level system and learning level system. These systems are from the system level to the learning level, step by step, and the upper level is the mother of the next level. There are interrelated, mutually restrictive and interactive organizational forms among all levels. At each level, the input and output of matter, energy and information are dynamically exchanged with other levels of systems. From the division of this level, we can clearly see the operation process of the teaching system, which makes the management and research more purposeful and targeted.
