According to the enrollment brochure of Shijiazhuang No.48 Middle School, it is located at No.3 Wu Luan Road, Luancheng District, Shijiazhuang No.48 Middle School, formerly known as Shijiazhuang No.2 Middle School. On September 3, 2022, the unveiling ceremony was held at No.48 Middle School (No.2 Middle School) in Shijiazhuang.

Shijiazhuang No.48 Middle School was formerly known as Shijiazhuang No.2 Middle School. In 2009, with the approval of Shijiazhuang Education Bureau, Shijiazhuang No.2 Middle School was transformed into a private complete middle school-Shijiazhuang Shimen Experimental School, which is the Shimen campus of Shijiazhuang No.2 Middle School Education Group. On September 3, 2022, the unveiling ceremony was held at No.48 Middle School (No.2 Middle School) in Shijiazhuang.

In 2022, according to the Notice on Standardizing Public Schools to Hold or Participate in Holding Private Compulsory Education Schools issued by the Ministry of Education and other eight departments, with the approval of the Education Bureau of Shijiazhuang City, the school was transformed into a public junior middle school, officially named No.48 Middle School of Shijiazhuang City (No.2 Middle School of Shijiazhuang City).
