Shantou Chenghai Experimental School, founded in 1998, is located on the west side of Guan Ning Garden, Wenguan Road, Chenghai New District, a scenic coast of the South China Sea. It is a school directly under Chenghai Education Bureau, with nine-year compulsory schooling from primary school to junior high school.
The school was named Chenghai Experimental School in Shantou, and was rated as the first-class school in Guangdong Province in 2004.
