There are nine colleges in our school, namely:
College of Chemical Engineering, College of Pharmaceutical Engineering, College of Environment and Quality Inspection, College of Intelligent Manufacturing and Automobile, College of Big Data and Automation, College of Finance and Economics, College of Civil Engineering, College of Marxism, College of General Education (Military Sports Department)
Chongqing Vocational and Technical College of Chemical Technology was formerly known as Chongqing Vocational School of Chemical Technology, founded in 1964, and later renamed as Chongqing Senior Technical School of Chemical Technology and Chongqing Senior Technical School of Chemical Technology and Medicine.
In June 2000, it merged with Chongqing University of Chemical Workers founded by 1978. On April 20 10, it was restructured into Chongqing Institute of Chemical Technology.
