The Data Report on Internet Addiction among Teenagers in China (2005) shows that "middle school students aged 13 ~ 18 are the hardest hit areas for Internet addiction". "82% of netizens in China are teenagers, including underage netizens16.5 million. Among the16.5 million minors, 14.8%, that is to say, nearly 2.45 million minors not only fell in love with the internet, but also indulged in it, which is difficult to extricate themselves. In addition, 13% teenagers have the tendency of internet addiction. The number, proportion and harm of middle school students' internet addiction are unexpected. Although China's middle school students' ideological and political education has made some achievements and accumulated a series of valuable experiences in promoting students' all-round development and social progress, Internet addiction middle school students have put forward new topics for school ideological and political education.
First, part of the content that is pale and weak and lagging behind.
1. Tradition is out of touch with development. The development of Internet makes social life more colorful, and it also brings many new problems: how to treat the network dialectically, how to correctly understand online games, how to correctly understand yourself and so on. This undoubtedly requires middle school ideological and political education to respond. However, at present, some contents of ideological and political education in middle schools in China are seriously out of touch with the physical and mental characteristics, knowledge level and social life of the educated, and lack pertinence. Part of ideological and political education is old and thin, which can neither stimulate the feelings of the educated, make them agree with them, nor internalize them; It is not enough to explain the current complex social phenomenon, nor can it solve the ideological reality of the educated.
2. Knowledge deviates from practice. The main purpose of ideological and political education for middle school students is to cultivate their awareness and understanding of Quan Yi's behavior habits, as well as their attitude and ability to actively participate in society and be brave in practice. This requires middle school students to participate in various activities inside and outside the school as the main body of ideological, political and moral practice, from which they can educate themselves and grow up healthily. However, in the current ideological and political education in middle schools, the phenomenon of simple knowledge transmission is more serious, and there is a lack of training and practice to varying degrees, which makes many educational objects we shape become "giants of language and dwarfs of action", and the education of middle school students with Internet addiction is one of them.
3. Being ahead and adapting run counter to each other. The so-called advanced nature means that the people trained by the school should face the world, the future and modernization, and can adapt to the needs of social and national development; Adaptation means that the trained people can adapt to the needs of the current society, country and socialist construction. However, our realistic ideological and political education in middle schools has not handled the relationship between them well, and there are two obvious deviations: first, it only pays attention to the advance and ignores the adaptability; Second, only pay attention to adaptation, but ignore the advance. Middle school students' internet addiction is the product of the former. In education, teachers blindly demand students with abstract and generalized ideological, political and moral principles, which is impossible at this stage, while ignoring students' own needs and surrounding environment and overemphasizing the advancement will not only be unacceptable to middle school students, but also cause resentment.
Second, some methods are biased and subjective.
1. Pay attention to indoctrination and ignore initiative. We say that the ultimate goal of ideological and political education is to form an internal moral self-discipline system composed of knowledge, emotion, will and action. At present, in the education of middle school students with internet addiction, the teaching process is often not regarded as the whole of bilateral activities between teachers and students, but the leading role of teachers is overemphasized, the authority of teachers is unilaterally emphasized, and the "intensive indoctrination" in education and the "compulsion" in management are unilaterally emphasized. The loss of subjectivity makes the goal of ideological and political education impossible to achieve. Educators' condescending elitism often leads to students' rejection and resistance to the moral norms they receive, which inevitably leads to the embarrassing situation of ideological and political education for Internet addiction students, making the "bilateral relationship" in the process of ideological education a "one-on-one" for educators, ignoring the initiative and initiative of Internet addiction students in receiving education and the important role of Internet addiction students in the process of positive judgment, screening, understanding and internalization.
2. The method is single, ignoring the demand. Marx once pointed out: "No one can do anything unless he does something for his own needs and also for his organs." This tells us that all human activities are to meet their own needs. If we ignore people's own needs and get the necessary care physically and psychologically, people's subjective initiative can't be fully exerted or stimulated. If the reasonable demand is not met or the misplaced demand is not transformed, it will become an internal obstacle to the acceptance of ideological and political education. For middle school students with Internet addiction, surfing the Internet can meet their needs in different levels, directions and intensities, especially their psychological needs. In real life, they have many unsatisfied needs and many emotions to vent. At the same time, because they haven't found a suitable outlet, they turn to online games to vent and look for sustenance in the network. At present, some educators often ignore the needs of middle school students with internet addiction, and the educational method is single, which leads to the lack of effectiveness of education. Mainly manifested in: not considering the purpose, content, activities and results of education from the reality of students, but starting from the subjective wishes of teachers to carry out educational activities; In the choice of educational carrier, it is subjective, taking ready-made means as educational carrier, and rarely considering students' needs and interests; In terms of educational requirements, students should blindly obey, only teachers can "approve", education becomes "instruction" and requirements become "compulsion".
Third, some cases of quick success and instant benefit and moral decline.
Although China's current education system is carrying out quality education, in fact, most schools are still in the state of exam-oriented education. In order to take the exam, educators often only pay attention to intellectual education and ignore moral education, physical education, aesthetic education and labor technology education, only pay attention to the transmission and acquisition of knowledge and ignore the transformation of ability, and only pay attention to top students, which hurts most students. The magic wand of enrollment rate has made some educators forget the true meaning of education, and turned many middle school students into examination machines, lacking quality awareness and ignoring the truth of being a man and the noble motivation of self-improvement. Meanwhile, the campus culture is monotonous. Many schools lack a beautiful and elegant campus environment, compress colorful campus cultural activities, reject a vibrant student club culture, fail to build a people-oriented classroom culture, blindly emphasize the topic of books and mountains, keep educators away from ideological and political education, and lead some students to be tired of learning, afraid of exams, truant and addicted to the internet. On the other hand, with the development of social economy, people's traditional social production mode, lifestyle and ethics have been greatly impacted, and some middle school students can't stand the stimulation of bizarre phenomena, their moral concepts have declined and they have contracted bad habits. While the Internet has improved people's quality of life, pollution has also followed, such as the low taste of online chat rooms and the proliferation of pornographic websites. Minor students with poor self-control ability became the first victims.
Saving middle school students with internet addiction is a huge and complicated project, which needs the joint efforts and support of all sectors of society. Our ideological and political education should carry forward the fine tradition, dare to stand at the forefront of the trend, keep pace with the times, build a new tension in ideological and political education, lead the new trend and create greater glories. The author thinks that we can start from the following aspects: deepening the content of people-oriented ideological and political education, such as strengthening gratitude education, life education, mental health education, network knowledge education and so on. ; Advocating the method of ideological and political education close to the soul, starting from the thoughts and actions of middle school students with internet addiction and the needs of middle school students with internet addiction, adopting the education method close to the soul of middle school students with internet addiction; Activating the practical carrier of ideological and political education. Middle school students with internet addiction are a special group, so they need to use different carriers flexibly to enhance the appeal and penetration of education. Such as innovating various activities, attaching importance to class management, making use of network advantages and optimizing external environment. To improve the quality of future-oriented ideological and political education.
