During the winter solstice from 1948 to 1949 and then to 1, the party and government officials who took over Tianjin gathered in Fangsheng City, where they established Tianjin district governments, departments, Tianjin Daily, Tianjin Branch of Xinhua News Agency and Tianjin People's Broadcasting Station.
Fangsheng Town is located in the hinterland of Beijing and Tianjin in the Bohai Economic Circle, with a distance of 0/20km from Beijing/KLOC-0 in the north. It can reach Beijing Airport directly within one and a half hours, only 35km from Tianjin in the east, and reach Tianjin Port within one hour. 1 12 national highway is adjacent to Fangsheng, provincial highway corridor runs through the town in the north-south direction, Baojin Expressway has an exit in Fangsheng, and Bajin Railway Freight Station is connected to Tianjin in the north of 13 km, with convenient transportation and obvious location advantages.
The total population of the town is10.7 million, including permanent population10.2 million and floating population of more than 50,000, with town area10.04.7 square kilometers and built-up area10.8 square kilometers.
After the reform and opening up, under the correct leadership of party committees and governments at all levels, the economy has developed rapidly and the society has made all-round progress. 1985, Fangsheng Town became the first town with 100 million yuan. Dongsheng Street 1989 in Fangsheng Town became the first billion yuan village in Hebei Province. Fangsheng Town was named as China Township Star, National Comprehensive Reform Pilot Town, National Well-off Demonstration Town, National Advanced Fitness Town of Hundreds of Million Farmers, Star Town of Well-off Construction in 2005, National Civilized Town, China Metal Glass Furniture Industrial Base and other honorary titles by relevant state ministries and commissions. In 2007, it was awarded the title of China Commercial City, and in 2008, it was awarded the historical and cultural town of Hebei Province.
At present, the Bazhou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government have planned Fangsheng as the eastern part of Bazhou. Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning and Design Institute, which we hired, has completed the preparation of the master plan of Fangsheng Town and passed the examination and approval of the municipal government. By 2020, the planned population will reach 365,000, with a planned area of 53.57 square kilometers. The planning is divided into two parts: the old district mainly highlights the style of the ancient town, restores the lotus fragrance landscape in Shui Sheng, and builds a tourist, cultural and commercial city. The new area embodies modern industrial civilization, residential civilization and educational civilization, and forms a regional economic growth pole with Fangsheng as the core.
In 2008, the "three treasures" in Fangsheng history (theater, archway and Wenchang Pavilion) were restored and rebuilt, and the old district was restored. The first phase of Fangsheng Ancient Town was completed, and the Fangsheng History Museum was completed, which gradually became a tourist hotspot.
