Story teaching is of great significance to primary school students' English learning, especially in enriching students' vocabulary and cultivating their pragmatic competence. Teacher Ling of Dayingpan Primary School brought a lecture on "Teaching Strategies of English Stories in Primary Schools under Core Literacy". Teacher Ling gave the teachers a simple explanation from the connotation, objectives, ways and means of story teaching, the penetration of core literacy in story teaching and example teaching.
