Zhejiang University School of Medicine is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, with a long history, profound cultural heritage and inclusiveness. Its predecessor was Zhejiang Medical College, which was founded by Zhejiang Medical College 19 12 (the earliest self-run western medical college in China) and Zhejiang University National Medical College 1945. 1960 was upgraded to Zhejiang Medical University, and the following year it was reorganized to establish Zhejiang University.
