Zhejiang Normal University, located in Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, is a multi-disciplinary provincial key university focusing on teacher education and a key construction university in Zhejiang Province. The school was selected as one of the "Top Ten Foreign Cooperation Units in Zhejiang Province" and the construction unit of "Internationalized University with Zhejiang Characteristics".

By March, 2022, the school had won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1, 34 outstanding scientific research achievement awards of universities (humanities and social sciences) of the Ministry of Education, 8 outstanding achievement awards of national education planning, 20 major bidding projects of the National Social Science Fund, 36 key projects of the National Social Science Fund, 6 key projects of the National Natural Science Fund, major research projects of the National Natural Science Fund and national key R&D plan/KLOC-0.

A total of 28 19 social science projects at all levels were obtained, including 49 1 projects at the provincial and ministerial levels and 77 projects funded by the national social science fund, including 1 major bidding projects and 4 key projects, which are generally at the leading level of universities in the province.
