Jinqiao College of Kunming University of Science and Technology was established in 200 1. It is a full-time undergraduate independent college sponsored by Kunming University of Science and Technology, invested by Yunnan Urban Construction Investment Co., Ltd., audited by Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, and approved by the Ministry of Education. Relying on the excellent educational and teaching resources of Kunming University of Science and Technology and the strong financial support and rich social resources of Yunnan Urban Construction Investment Co., Ltd., Jinqiao College is located in Kunming, south of colorful clouds, where there is no cold in winter and no hot summer. Lakes and mountains, pleasant climate in four seasons are especially suitable for students to study and live. The College is located in Haiyuan North Road, Kunming High-tech Industrial Development Zone, covering an area of 1.75 mu, with an investment of 450 million yuan and a construction area of 1.5 million square meters. At present, the newly requisitioned 1200 mu of land is used to run the airport.
