1. Determine the research topic and clarify the experimental purpose. The expression of experimental research topics should be concise and to the point. Key concepts involved in the project should be defined. Why researchers should study this topic should also be explained.
2. Design the theoretical framework and form the experimental hypothesis. Researchers should conduct preliminary investigation and study, consult relevant literature, design and guide the theoretical framework of the experiment based on the purpose of experimental research, clarify the guiding ideology and educational concept of the experiment, determine the specific objectives of the experiment on this basis, and make clear and specific provisions on the direction and scope of experimental research and how to collect, analyze and interpret data.
Experimental hypothesis is the core and soul of experiment, and it is a hypothesis about the relationship between variables to be studied by researchers. From the theoretical framework and research purpose, as well as the analysis of the variables to be studied. The experimental hypothesis should include at least two variables and explain a certain relationship between the variables, which is expected to be confirmed by experiments.
3. Select subjects, decompose experimental variables and design experiments. The researcher should explain in detail the selection method of experimental subjects, the grouping method of subjects and whether to set up a control group. When decomposing experimental variables, we should accurately describe the independent variables, dependent variables and irrelevant variables of the experimental object. We should also stipulate the manipulation and control measures of these variables, as well as the experimental means and conditions, and carry out reasonable experimental design to maximize the effectiveness of the experiment. In this regard, the third section of this chapter will also elaborate in detail.
4. Compile measuring tools and choose statistical methods. According to the purpose of the experiment, researchers should design methods to collect experimental materials and data, prepare tools to measure dependent variables, and decide what statistical methods to adopt, so as to clearly evaluate the indicators of dependent variables.
5. Preset the experimental process. Explain what stages and processes the experiment is divided into, what is their research task and when it is expected to be completed. This is the end of the experiment. Its tasks are as follows:
1. Analyze the data obtained in the experiment, make causal analysis on the variables based on statistical analysis, affirm or deny the experimental hypothesis, and draw scientific conclusions.
2. Evaluate the experimental conclusion and write the experimental report.
