2. Xiamen University is located in Siming South Road, Siming District, Xiamen. Xiamen University is referred to as Xiamen University for short. It is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), which is jointly built by the Ministry of Education, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, Fujian Province and Xiamen City.
