Donated schools can't change the academic system. Donated private schools and private schools that investors do not require reasonable returns enjoy the same preferential policies as public schools according to law.

This Law shall apply to social organizations or individuals other than state institutions that use non-state-owned financial funds to organize activities of schools and other educational institutions facing the society. According to this regulation, the scope of application of People's Republic of China (PRC) Private Education Promotion Law includes private schools established by donation.
